Sicily's Pizza Dimond — Restaurant in Alaska

Once a upon a time, this was my family’s favorite restaurants to order food from. Their pizza were delightfully fresh and tasty. The customer service was friendly. We would rave to our friends about their food and refer business their way.

Well, they are open 24 hours. I have never order late at night. One night, I couldn’t sleep and was hungry. I ordered a medium pizza and spaghetti on the app around 1:15-ish. I thought well it will be here in 45 minutes around 2 am.

2 am came and no pizza. I call around 2:15 am, (one hour after I ordered) to check on the status of my order. I was told the driver was on his way.

I waited and the last time I looked at the clock it was 3 am. No pizza. I fell asleep waiting and woke up at 5 am. I called and told them what happened.

Mind you I just woke up still hungry and waited two hours for food after speaking to them once already. The lady was rude, interrupt me multiple times. She asked for my phone number and said their was no order. Then checked my address and said that they tried to call me twice and there was no answer. I told her no one called me and the number she gave was not my phone number. I could feel myself getting mad and almost in tears. She promptly said she would refund the money and hung up on me without a good bye. With no apologies.

As a long time customer, I would think they would want to keep my business. It seems they...

Meh, certainly not the best buffet I've ever had, but not the worst. Average at best. The pizzas that had on the buffet weren't bad, but they had been there for a bit. At 530 on a Sunday evening, there were only 5 or 6 tables in use.They put out a fresh dessert pizza that was tough to get through. Had to use a knife to cut it. Not much turnover on the buffet. They do have a nice variety though. The meatballs were good, although I suspect they are premade similar to those you get from Sam's. The lasagna wasn't bad, maybe 4 stars on that. They had a couple pasta dishes. Penne with alfredo sauce, and penne with a yellow, maybe cheddar sauce. Neither had much flavor. Also had some chicken, mashed potatoes, and rice sides. However I didnt have any. Desserts were good, fresh pineapple, chocolate pudding, jello, some melon, and some kind of flan. It wasn't very good. Served in a bowl, the liquid had no where to go, so kinda soupy. Small salad bar, that looked pretty fresh, my wife had no complaints about that. The staff was good, friendly, kept our table clear. And. Drinks were included, so that's a definite plus. The whole place was nice and clean, but very outdated. A remodel would do wonders for this place. Overall, staff 5 stars. Pizza, 2 stars. Variety. 4 stars. Cleanliness, 5 stars. Other food. 3 stars. And I'd say, 3 stars overall. ...

AWFUL! My first clue should have been the bathrooms when I first arrived. Dirty and falling apart. People had even started using one of the two sinks as a trash can because the trash can was overfilling. On to the buffet... There was Only one pizza out and it was half gone and old. there was hardly any selection of food other wise with the exception of salad. Me and my boyfriend just stood there looking at the food that was there and didn't know what to do. The mac and cheese was old and crusting over, the mash potatoes were covered in an oily substance. Looked like it had separated and all the oil was sitting on the top. That usually means it sat for a WHILE. The beverage area was just as bad. There was no carbonation in the soda machine so all you got was syrup in your class and the lemonade just came out water. We ended up leaving so disappointed. We had been really excited for a buffet and were let down so hard. We have ordered delivery before and were always satisfied but now knowing how they keep their restaurant we will not be doing that ever again either. HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else when craving...
