In the past I’ve ordered a tray of meatballs (the meatballs and sauce are delicious!) with extra sauce and no cheese. Today I called to place the order and, after being placed on hold I was told I couldn’t have extra sauce. “Meatballs already come with one pound of sauce.” I asked if I could pay more, I don’t mind being charged. Emma repeated “They already come with one pound of sauce.” I asked how I could get more sauce, only to be told I couldn’t. Eventually she said the tray didn’t have the capacity for extra sauce. I can kinda understand that- I’ve worked in pizza kitchens before so I get capacity issues. However, in my experience today there was a lack of problem solving and she seemed impatient with my request. I wanted to know if I could get some sauce on the side. “No, meatballs already come with one pound of sauce.” Why can’t I buy a container of sauce on the side? Or why can’t you give me one less meatball to make room for extra sauce in the tray? Why is it a problem today when it hasn’t been a problem in the past? I picked up my meatballs. They kinda look like they have less sauce than usual. I will make the best of this...
Read moreAs a celiac, it's always more difficult to find good gluten-free pizza crusts. Papa Murphy's does a decent job though and I've ordered from them a few times. This time I got the Papa's Perfect: a half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. Sauce volume was average. I like a little bit more sauce, but that's just personal preference. The sauce isn't too sweet which is nice. The cheese level was good. A nice even coating holding everything together. Topping quantity was also good. Plenty of pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and pineapple with good distribution. The only problem was the crust. Gluten-free crusts are never going to be great. That's just my reality. Their dough is fine, that is, flavor and holding together without crumbling. It's just hard to cook them. You end up too crunchy on the outer ring, but pale and blah on the bottom. Thankfully, flavor is decent, but texture is just difficult to love. Maybe in an industrial oven it can be done better, but for take-and-bake it's all on you, and you just need to take what you get. But again, it's a good pizza. I recommend it. Just don't expect that elusive perfect...

It was ab24 minute walk from fred meyers to their location. I get there and they won't even speak to me. They just stop look and stare. So I call and they let the phone ring. Why tell me.you will stay open for me to just ignore me.when I get there. I am absolutely furious. You said you would wait.. tjenwlrst part is ... I got a ride from someone at Freddy's and was here ever sooner than I was had I walked. Trash! Not to mention my pizza was sitting on the counter when I arrived and then when I said I was here for that pizza they took it off the...
