Pizza Now! — Restaurant in Albany

I order from this place religiously and 80% of the time I have NO issues. A few weeks ago I placed an order and one of my pizza's seemed like it was made by a toddler and it was soggy, unpleasant tasting, and lacked toppings/sauce. I called in and was offered a replacement, but said " no worries, next time just do better". The guy said no problem and on my next order I'll have a credit for the inconvenience. About a week later, I ordered again. I never used the "credit" and paid with my credit card. Off subject a little: (when I use my credit card over the phone, the employees will REPEAT my card number OUT LOUD in av room full of people. I've asked numerous times for them NOT to do that and to just ask me to repeat it if needed be.) continuing now; on this order I again got a small personal pizza along with other items. Everything was perfectly cooked except for my small pizza. It was actually RAW and Doughy.. I took pictures and called it in. The guy (I think it's the same one from before) said he was sorry and that he already knew it was under done 😒 and that's they'll replace it with no problem. I told him this time it made me sick to my stomach and I lost my appetite. He then said he'll just add a credit for a free one on my next order.. I ordered a few days later and redeemed the ONE freebie I had.. Current situation; So today I called to order 2 large pizza's plus redeem my OTHER free small pizza, but.... I was told that I've redeemed it already ( although I didn't) and no matter what I said, they tried to make it seem like I was lying to get free food😡😡😡.. How dare they?!!! I order from this place soooooooooooo much and they have the nerve to treat me like that... Incredible!! Then to call back to get corporate number and find out the person who was treating me in such a way was the OWNER!! 😮😮😮... Guss I'll take this matter to the BBB..

Reply to owner: First thing, it was only TWO free SMALL pizza's and if y'all would've cooked it correctly the first time, there wouldn't be an issue now, right? Second, if you only seen the one, then you need to check your employees on that because I not only have picture proof, but video as well. I don't need to lie about no darn SMALL pizza. As far as my credit card info goes, that's not correct. Your employees repeat the card info back to you. My card has NEVER declined at your establishment and I don't care if it is just the employees that hear it. I trust NO ONE. Sorry if you can't understand that. Instead of them repeating it, they should say "could you repeat that...

I order Pizza Now online tonight for dinner. I ordered a large meat trio pizza with mushrooms and olives, a large taco pizza, bread sticks, and cinnabread. I completed and paid for my order and received an email letting me know that the restaurant had received my order and that it would be completed and ready for pick up in 15 minutes. I had to stop and get drinks before I picked up our order, so it took me a little longer than the 15 minutes. When I arrived 45 minutes later, thinking my order was done, I was informed that they were waiting on my order of cinnabread and it would be 10-15 minutes. I noticed that all of the employees were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, looking dishelved and overwhelmed. I could see that they seemed to be busy so I just shrugged my order not being ready to maybe an sudden increase in orders and went to my truck to wait. 15 minutes later, I returned to pickup my order and waited while multiple employees walked right by me, looked at me and didn't say a word. Finally someone came up and asked me if they could help me. I told them my name and that I was waiting for my order which should be done by now since I had previously been waiting on cinnabread. They went back to grab my order and a few minutes later came back and told me that it would be done in about 15 minutes and that they were just waiting on bread sticks. Finally, almost an hour and a half after placing my order, waiting almost 40 minutes at the store, which I was sad to see was dirty and lacking the atmosphere that it once had, I was given my order and left. When I got home and was getting ready to eat, the pizzas were no longer warm, the cinnabread was undercooked and looked like it was barely warmed up, but the order of bread sticks were awesome. I used to love Pizza Now as it was my go to and only Pizza joint in town that I would go to or recommend to everyone. I am sad to say that I am probably not going to be ordering from them for awhile and will probably be giving some of the pizza joints over in Corvallis more of my recommendations...

I am actually disappointed in myself for not giving Pizza Now a chance earlier!!!! In a desperate attempt to find something new and different, I gave this place a chance about 6 months ago. I couldn't have been happier that I did. Every time that we order I try to order something new and different and we are slowly working ourselves through the specialty pizza menu. Sometimes it's a gold medal and sometimes it's a bronze but I literally have never had anything bad. It's just that we have found some things that are definitely our favorites. I was a cook and a chef for nearly 15 years and I can tell that it's definitely a chef's mentality that goes into their pizza creations. We like to order the small size which comes as a square, four slice, somewhat deep dish style and I love it because I love a good crust and because this way we can order several different flavors to try different things for not a lot of money. I'm not exactly sure why people's reviews have complained that it's expensive. Honestly, you can compare their prices to Pizza Hut or Domino's but get a FAR SUPERIOR product. I have tried some of the other local pizza places in town, and I won't name names, and I would order this pizza over their's any day of the week because of it's quality, price and creativity. And if you're a person that likes condiments and dipping sauces like I do, they offer lots! Their wings are awesome too with lots of choices of flavors. Everybody has an opinion and has lots of reasons why or why not to choose a restaurant. I weigh out a lot of things greatly when it comes to choosing where I eat. After all of my years and experience in fine dining kitchens price, quality, and value matter and if I'm going to order pizza delivery in Albany, I'm going to order it from Pizza Now.
