Waffle House — Restaurant in Albany

Worst waffle house I ever been to. I went two different occasions around 2am. Both times there were at least 7 employees standing behind the counter & when you asked for assistance they acted as though you were bothering them. 1st incident-went into this restaurant after already having called my food in. Apparently the waitress who took my order “over the phone” was on lunch break & even though my food was right on the counter no other employee could give it to me (mind you there were at least 7 other employees this time). By the time I realized that I was not waiting for an available waitress but waiting for one to come off break my food was already cold. This happened on more than one occasion. Its apparent that they don’t need that many employees to run a rotation at night because even when they see customers standing around they all just look. I was very disappointed and felt to some degree disrespected. I stay right around the corner from this restaurant but choose to actually drive all the way to Lee County for decent service. I would not recommend this waffle house to anyone. GO TO LEE COUNTY IF YOU WANT TO EAT FROM...

Hey fellow foodies! Just had to share my amazing experience at Waffle House. 🙌 Our server was an absolute gem, putting up with our antics and even joining in on the fun! 😄 The service was top-notch, and the gentleman who assisted us knew his stuff, offering mouthwatering recommendations that hit the spot. 🍽️

As for my order, I went for the classics: grits, hashbrowns covered and smothered, and a pecan waffle that was to die for! 🥓🧀 Plus, I indulged in some refreshing orange juice and a good ol' Coke. 🍊🥤 And guess what? No tummy troubles this time! 🎉

All this deliciousness for just $11.75, and with such generous portions, I even got to take my waffle to go! 🛍️ With a tip included, my total was $15.75, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. 😋 I left feeling more than satisfied with both my meal and the fantastic service.

The staff was very friendly and engaging to me during my visit on Wednesday 12/19 @ 4:55am. I got my breakfast togo, but they still made small talk and were extremely pleasant. Even the cook was just as friendly as the waitress/cashier and was making casual conversation about the preparation of my dish. He was nice and polite, which truly surprised me. I've never met a cook @ Waffle House be so exceptionally good @ his job and kind. I'll definitely be back to patronize this location for future quick visits. Kudos and job well done. I wish I would have gotten both their names. I ordered triple hashbrowns smothered, doubled covered and capped cooked well done. They were delicious and I still have plenty left. I think I'll just do a double or just the single portion because my eyes were obviously bigger than my stomach on this early...
