Subway — Restaurant in Albertville

Me and my husband went to Albertville Subway while we was in town around 9:30am to get some sandwiches from there. We ordered a Footlong “The Beast” and a Footlong Italian Herb and Cheese sandwich. We ordered and paid about $23 for only 2 sandwiches no drink, chips or cookies. Drove back home which is 30 minutes away and our sandwiches were hard as a brick. The veggies and meat inside were fine but the bread was not fresh and it seemed like it was from days ago. It sounded like knocking on wood. Also, it was like chewing through dry-wall. We called up there and drove 30 minutes back to town and when they remade our sandwiches, they toasted/heated them. Reminder, we did not get our sandwiches toasted or heated the first time due to not liking it heated or toasted. Therefore, we didn’t get to eat our footlong sandwiches that we paid $23 for. Managers were nice but the employees at Subway need better communication skills. If I could give 0 stars I would. Around Christmas(Covid was ramping up) I went in and while making my sandwich a male employee comes from the back. He then starts putting the condiments on. He starts coughing and coughing. Another employee said go get a drink to help that. He said in front of everyone. “I’m sick water won’t help it”. I was kinda shocked and just left. Well 4 months later decided to give em one more chance. I walk in and guess what there the guy is who was hacking up a storm in the winter. Well he was messing with the bread and after 2 minutes I thought maybe I was invisible. He never said I’ll help you in a second nothing. Here comes a couple behind me. After a minute the couple says have you been helped…does he know we’re here. I then just left again and as I get in my truck he still hadn’t helped them. Almost 5 minutes and he never acknowledged we was there. I’m a fan of Subway but this might be the worst location...

My daughter stopped in to bring home sandwiches for dinner. She ordered a 12” BMT with extra cheese and a 6” steak and cheese for me. She stated that the young lady making my sandwich appeared to be spaced out. She told the girl three times extra meat and pepper Jack cheese. It is approximately a ten minute drive to our house. When she arrived with my sandwich it barely had meat on it, no cheese and the bread was so hard that I was not able to chew it. I keep praying that some day this store can get it together and provide the same Quality of service and product as the wonderful staff in the Guntersville location.
