A new entity here with the best intentions. Several things lacking. Some things were quite good. Freshness of produce in salad was great, but was not served with any dressing as stated, and no lettuce at this point, so just good veggies. Bechamel sauce was tasty, but rice was on the watery side. Dish listed as Souvlaki, but meat was not skewered, and there was precious little of it, given that I ordered both chicken and gyro meat (at a hefty upcharge). There were 3 strips marinated chicken and 4 slices of pre-fabricated formed gyro meat. We also had small tureen of a Krab soup that at $14 was quite underwhelming. The rolls were tasty, but overbaked. The price point for all of this was far beyond the quality of the meal.
This was our first time there since Gina's. I can't lie. Her subs were infinitely superior. You can tell the new owners are trying to make it go, but their market is quite different. I spend plenty of time eating in the excellent Greek and Middle Eastern restaurants in the Dearborn and Detroit areas. These folks in Albion have every good intention. I hope they figure it out. Putting it bluntly, they had three 2-tops and one 4-top during the time we were there. At the Brewery down the street, there was not an open table to be had. Best wishes for an...

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful evening and dinner here with well crafted cocktails, delicious cuisine, and attentive service! The Manhattan's were perfectly mixed and the Aperol Spritz was one of the best our daughter has had! The Tzatziki appetizer was fresh and bright in flavor and the perfect portion to whet the appetite. We were thoroughly impressed with our flavorful and plentiful entrees - the Pasta Olio, Galazio Carbonara, Grilled Chicken Wrap, and Kreas Kokonisto Beef Tips were all home runs!
Sean proved he is an exceptional host and restauranteur. He impressively orchestrated a fantastic dinner while remaining attentive and engaging. And of note, he was very helpful and accommodating in navigating a gluten free and nut free diet! #glutenfee #nutfree
Super cool venue here in a historic train depot that holds a lot of character. The addition of the outdoor, open-air dining deck promises to add to the ambience for a great night out!
Bottomline: Wonderful place with great food, drinks, and people -- a place I will return whenever I...
Read moreWe decided to try Galazio for brunch as part of our anniversary celebration. We brought the kids along. Brunch is a served buffet. They do a pretty good job explaining what the food items are. You can also check out their Facebook page as they have been doing live videos spotlighting their specials. One of my kids is a very picky eater. Despite the smaller selection (compared to places that are just giant buffets), he was able to find things he would eat. He even put a few "weird" things on his plate to try. He liked the waffle station best. My daughter's favorite thing on the brunch menu were the meatballs. She was too shy to go back up and just get some meatballs on her plate, so if anyone made a trip back up, we needed to make sure to get a couple for her. Brunch was $28 adults 13 and up; $12 kids 5-12; free 4 and under. The atmosphere was nice. The service was great. The bathrooms were clean. The food was good made with quality ingredients. I would consider this a good restaurant to go to for special occasions. The price is a little high for going every day or every week, for our family anyways. I would...
