Acapulco Tacos & Burritos — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I liked that its a small place, just big enough space to take orders, prepare food and store food items in the refrigerator/freezer. Oh a soda fountain machine too. The food was prepared quick but not too quick to where its just slopped together so much that you can't tell if its a burrito, a Tostada or soup. The three of us ordered different burritos and one tamale. There were no complaints AT ALL from my two friends. The green chile had a little heat to it but for my taste IT NEEDS MORE HEAT! I will definitely go there again and would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if your in a hurry but need to eat, this is the perfect place. Just the right amount of food. Not overwhelming amount to the point of needing a nap after you finish eating but also not lacking in the amount of food you get either. This place is in my Top 5 for best quick quality afordable Mexican food restaurants in Albuquerque. And you can take that...

Went here with my dad and brother as he would always go here with my mom who’s since passed away. After placing our order, some white guy, assuming it was the owner, came out and yelled at my dad to leave the property or he would call the cops and didn’t realize my dad just made an order. Anyways our $30 order had just finished being made and the Spanish lady workers were trying to tell the owner that my dad had paid for a large order.. the owner tried bringing it out to us but we ended up asking for our money back.. I’ll never return to this place again. I’m assuming he thought my dad was a homeless person or something because we couldn’t understand why he would be trying to kick a paying customer out. I ordered 2 #13 chicharrón burritos with green chili. Has to be the worst chicharrón burrito I've ever had. The chicharrón were way over cooked, almos to hard to eat. 0 favor other then being way over salted. And it tasted like they only put in a few drops of green chili on one end of the burrito because there was definitely none in the middle of the burrito and could only taste it the last bite. Wife said that her's was the same. I wonder if they eat their own food and if so do they make it the same as they serve their customers? Had ordered this before at the Wyoming restaurant and they were delicious. Not here on this day. Will try again at the Wyoming restaurant only. Hate to say anything bad...
