The food here is incredible, and the outdoor seating has a great vibe. We ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, the Five Oh Five Benito (swapped the turkey for chorizo), and the tres leches French toast—all of which were absolutely delicious. Despite the place being packed, the servers were super friendly and attentive.
A couple things to note: only two of the six outdoor tables had umbrellas, so it got pretty sunny while we ate. We went at 10:30 AM on a Sunday, and although there was a long line, our food came out in about 30 minutes, which was surprisingly quick given how busy it was.
If they optimized their parking lot a bit—maybe removed some of the random large rocks taking up potential spots—they could probably accommodate more cars during peak times. Also the “Order here sign” is in the way of the TV with the menu, so moving that would be a good idea as well. Still, definitely...

Anyway here’s what I tried - •Tres Leches French Toast - Dulce de leche French toast topped with fruit and whipped cream •The Chancla - English muffin topped with house made chorizo, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese, and chile •Chilaquiles - corn tortilla chips topped with chile, cheese, cream, eggs, and beans
Overall I really enjoyed everything I tried! Each dish was flavorful and came out fresh! The inside is small and quaint. And they have a patio which will be so nice during the summer. This family owned business is going to be a real gem in its SE Albuquerque...
