Blanca the lady in the window definitely needs to be fired the biggest attitude and probably one of the nastiest individuals I’ve ever met! That’s only one minor problem amongst many others. Poor communication, poor management, hectic work environment not to mention how uncomfortable it is working with homophobic remarks always coming from the native guy Vince in the kitchen. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt as a workplace and it completely failed as a functioning positive workplace. Sucks some of the people there were cool but definitely needs a couple new employees starting with Blanca. Will be hopefully reporting to DOH or NMDOL. Hope something gets done what sucks is the sonic culture, food and establishment could be so great if they just had people who actually gave a care. Again besides Katie the manager everyone could use some retraining or better yet let her be GM she knows how to run a store. I had to walk out of this establishment during my shift because Blanca the lady at the drive through (Morning shift) has a lot to say behind fellow coworkers back and I’m sure they all do but this lady take’s talking about employees and customers to far. If I find out a way for someone in higher authority to monitor her I’ll definitely look into that as well since Julie the GM won’t do anything about it. After walking out I got no call from the General Manager asking about why I left. I told them I need to be retrained and I swear I got half mouthed back comments about everything I did here including TRYING to detail clean some of the gunk that’s all over the store. I really wouldn’t recommend working here tbh if you have kids that want to work, definitely don’t let this be a choice. But either way good luck getting in you need to be “connected” to work here. Read moreJulie at this Sonic is really great and runs a clean & efficient fast food joint! Check out the peach 🍑 tree near the drive-thru exit. The Sonic team planted a living memorial for an employee that recently passed. Peach was his favorite flavor, or so I've been told. Very cool!
Side note: This rave review is about Julie and the MORNING crew at this Sonic location. The NIGHT crew here is a complete and total opposite when it comes to the service. I order 2 cups of ice almost everyday from this location and almost everytime I visit in the PM, I see them scoop the ice into the cups and they let it sit there on the counter, sometimes for as long as 15min (like tonight) before I receive it. Why would you scoop the ice and let it sit on the counter for 15min? It literally takes less than 30 seconds to scoop and prepare the ice so why not wait til the customer is at the drive thru window to serve it up?
