This establishment just recently started making carne asada burritos and tacos. I had the burrito and it was amazing. Today the owner is making me carne asada fries, which they aren't yet selling, but I will post about it today. Maybe he will start selling those soon.
So I got my carne asada fries yesterday. Even though they weren't on the menu as of yet. The cost was I think 13.50 before tax, as he was unsure how to price it. Normally he would have added guacamole and cilantro, but being as I don't like those, I had them removed. Not greasy at all, the Barbacoa is not wet (some places like keeping it wet so it doesn't dry, but here I didn't see that problem) you are getting quantity and quality for what you paying for. Very simple dishes but good flavor. This is the first time I see this style of serving were you get everything on the side and you built your tacos, burritos or tortas the way you want and it makes sense. Read moreBrief stop for breakfast take-away. Nice large container of Menudo for their Grande size. (So far we've had 2 small bowls at home, and there's definitely a 3rd one left in there.) Pan (bread) was buttered, griddled, and foiled to stay warm. Very tasty! Tripe was clean and tender. Hominy was well cooked. Delicious flavor. Would like a bit more fat in my soup to increase richness, but that's just getting picky. Would Recommend!...
