I'm a current barista at a different store, in which I ordered my drinks for in-store on accident. I went to get my drinks at the drive thru and said "I have a pickup order, I accidentally put it for in store" and the barista gave me attitude saying "it looks like it was for in store" with a tone (like if I was dumb) and I was then like "yeah.. that is my bad" since I had already prefaced I had messed up. As I got to the window getting my order, she AGAIN said "just make sure next time you get it in store" AS IF I HAD NOT HEARD HER THE FIRST TIME and I had ALREADY acknowledged MY mistake (which is CRAZY because my store does not make a fuss for the drive thru vs pick up orders btw). As a current partner, to get attitude AND a drink that isn't made right [today it tastes like they used frap roast for my shaken espresso while other days it tastes like they use the old recipe for them (4 pumps rather than the standard of 2, making it very sweet)] I just think that's rude and disrespectful. My lids are dirty like they over poured and couldn't clean the top right and the frappucinos have been more liquid than frozen, which also comes with VERY "wet" whip cream. The girl with tone and an attitude seemed like she was on the shorter side but had a pony tail with longer black hair and had thicker filled in eyebrows. She was more on the thin bodied build as well. Regardless, this store usually is one of the better ones I go to (as a barista) and on the way home, usually, but I will just go to a differing store...
Read moreThe store is much larger than most starbucks but the inside wasn’t anything to write home amount. Dirty, trash on tables and around the prep station. The employees behind the counter seemed mostly lackadaisical. Of the four employees present, only one of them seemed like they really wanted to be here. I wanted to buy a holiday item that was on sale but no percentage amount was filled in on the sign. When I asked the employee behind the counter, she didn’t know and asked. Who then asked their manager who also didn’t know and couldn’t find the floor set image to tell her. The cups they were making drinks in were dirty and diluted milk still coming out of the cup as they began using it for the next customer.
I had to specifically ask for them to use a clean cup to make my drink and also remake my drink because it wasn’t made as I asked (Ristretto shots with Wet modification on a Blonde Cappuccino).
Display shelves were empty, merchandising looked sloppy in this store compared to several others we’ve visited over the last week.
Management needs to take a look at this store and whip it into shape. For someone that is accustomed to seeing stores that have it a bit more together, this one doesn’t have anything going for it other than...
Read moreI used to come to this location 2-3 times a week but I stopped because another customer stole my coat/keys and it doesn't really feel safe anymore.
I'd been there for a few hours and had used the restroom a few times. Towards the end of the night, when I was getting ready to leave, I realized my coat was missing off the back of my chair. The baristas hadn't seen it and I was freaking out bc my keys were in it.
In the corner of the store was a man with abt 10 plastic bags and piles of things around him. He's a long time customer, I've seen him there every time I've ever gone, all hours. He'd gotten up to use the bathroom and I saw my coat balled up among his things. I grabbed it, told the baristas (who seemed unsure what to even do), and got the heck out of there not wanting a confrontation. Luckily my keys were still in it. It really freaked me out.
I haven't gone back since. The vibe felt all wrong about the situation and I didn't want to be...
