Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Had a fantastic first visit there. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, it really felt like a place that I wanted to return too.

The food was very tasty, we got to try several of the chicken salad options, and they were all interesting in their own way, looking forward to trying more. We tried a cookie and the Red Velvet cake for dessert, and they were both delightful.

The only thing I could criticize is that the chicken salad sandwich itself could really be improved with the addition of some lettuce or onion or something. Anything to give a bit more of a textural change. The sandwich was just a croissant and a good portion of the chicken salad. There may have been more options to add on, and I just didn't notice. Tasty, but a bit one note texture wise.

One of the office girls suggested that we order from chicken salad, chick. I chose the spicy pimento chicken salad on white and it was delicious. I was trying to save a few calories and not order a croissant, and I was not disappointed included in that who was a tiny cookie, which was a nice touch. It would be nice to have some more coupons though. My friend at the office said that you have to go in person to redeem the coupon. I also got the tomato bisque for my side, which was also delicious and they also included plenty of club crackers. I will return. More than likely with my mom. 10/15/25 12:30 PM - I’ve eaten at the west side location a dozen times or so. Not sure if this location owned by the same owner. But it was not my even close to as good (and consistent the other one is). The service was super friendly for sure. They were even pretty efficient in getting my order out to me quickly. However, there was hardly any chicken salad on the sandwich. It was a tomato croissant sandwich with a little bit of lettuce and very little chicken salad. Also the grape salad was not the same consistency, and the grapes were mushy and not crisp nor flavorful. We were disappointed. We will try again to see if it was just a bad day...
