McDonald's — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Also had one of my employees booted. He goes (used to now) there frequently as this location is near our office. Would park in the back of Mcdonalds being he has a large van and will not fit in either parking lot stbx or mcd's. This morning he went to Stbx and got his coffee and then to mcdonalds. he came out and got booted. the guy told him he saw him leave the property (adjoining parking lot) and that is cause for a boot. even though he had a receipt. I went to the location to pay to get the vehicle released. and the SCAM attendant looks and smells like a bum. I did not know he was the attendant until I saw a clipboard. We paid the fee and left. This is where it gets funny. I called to corp Mcdonalds to complain. I told them the same thing I just typed. I also told her, that I am a Concealed carry permit holder and if I was on my personal time, I would not have known that this attendant worked there because of his attire. I explained this could be a dangerous situation because this stinky guy isnt in professional attire and looks like he is a bum. Her response to me was " so you are telling me you had a gun and you were going to shoot him?" LMAO. I said wow, no thats not at all what I said. Now not only has this location lost business, but I will not even go to Mcd's to even get a soda. PATHETIC! I understand the importance of a parking space. but booting a vehicle is not the fix. Especially when you have adjoining parking lots to other businesses. UPDATE - Ian from Mcdonalds, would not tell me if he was the owner or what,. started yelling at me saying that our 4 dollar sandwich means nothing compared to the the money STBX is stealing from them and that their employees park in their spots. I told him As a customer I do not care what beef they had with Starucks and that should not have anything to do with you're customers. He screamed at me saying the city supports them ( which by the city pordinance), the news supports them yada yada yada. This guy was literally screaming at me not letting me get a word in edge wise. He also told me that since I threatened them with a gun, he was going to notify the authorities that I was threatening them. I knew it was a pointless conversation...

This just happened to me on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014; at around 9:30 AM. As usual, nowhere to park for coffee at Starbucks. I usually park along the curb that is between Starbucks/Keva Juice and McD's, but this time there was a big van there. So, I parked in the McD's space closest to Starbucks. I saw the "warning, you will be booted" sign but assumed that by being away for five minutes my actions wouldn't affect anybody. There were also plenty of parking spaces at the McD's. Of course, when I came back there was that hunk of metal adhered to my front tire and "booty the kid" strutting over from his car which he parked next to the dumpster, camera and clip board in hand. Unmarked car, by the way. If it had been marked with the tow company's name, I would have approached and asked if it was ok to park where I did for five lousy minutes... "$75 cash, ATM in the gas station," he tells me. He had it well rehearsed because he probably says it a dozen times a day. There are better ways for McD's to go about enforcing their rule (self imposed, and do they have the right to even do that?). I wrote McD's corporate and got a canned response. I have since contacted a local TV station to see if they're interested in doing...

My last Review was 5-STARS and 4yrs ago, Was a Perfect McDonald's but as years have gone by. Service has Declined. From constant forgotten items in my orders, going back, waiting in line(being told to park and wait). This is to FAR AND HAS HAPPENED 2TIMES PRIOR. Location says 24HRS but they CLOSE at 230AM, Tell you to come back at 4. FYI that's when YOU make a MOBILE ORDER or NOT. MOBILE ORDERS STAY AVAILABLE 24HRS. Asked about it at last visit and was told 3:30AM their OPEN n LUNCH is Available til that point. MADE my Online order at 3:20AM. Arrived at 3:35 to Drive Through didn't get a WORD out b4 being told Employee-"WE'RE CLOSED until 4:00 or ARE YOU DOOR DASH???" Me-said " No..., I made a Mobile Order" Employee-"Come to Window". At window Employee-"We don't have a Order" Me-"Showed my App Order and Code" Employee-" um Our systems are OFF, you'd have to wait til 4"(Oddly they know about a DOOR DASH order though). Me-WAITS til 4:05AM Employee-"You ordered Lunch??? We don't serve lunch after 3:30, You Have to Order BREAKFAST" Me-"I Made the order at 3:20" Employee stays quiet until I decide to leave, no apologies nothing. Just...
