I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for over 20 years and am terribly disappointed and appalled by how I was treated here; especially as an older working professional, I felt dismissed by a very uncaring, uncompassionate team, who would rather risk a person’s health than break store policy.
Due to an awful accident on i25, all lanes were closed and I was stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours. I am 65yo, and like many people my age, I simply need to use the restroom more frequently. I pulled off of i25 into this Starbucks, and respectfully purchased a breakfast sandwich so as to be a paying customer, and then asked to use the restroom. I was told the restrooms were not for public use. I told them I understand, but it was an emergency, I was stuck in traffic and had nowhere to go. I was on my way to work, wearing a suit, with my military personnel badge—I was by no means someone looking to cause trouble, I simply was having a restroom emergency, and at my age, it really is an emergency. Despite explaining my situation, I was told no and turned away. I had to scramble to find a place I could use the restroom. I am very disheartened that the staff felt it more important to follow store policy than help someone (and a paying loyal customer at that).
I am saddened to say that I feel Starbucks is just big corporate these days, and don’t really care about people, and that is reflected in their store policies and employees. They have lost my business. I would rather give my business to a company with more...

The high frequency environment and above-and-beyond level of personalized customer service makes me feel right at home every time and that's an amazing feeling that I'm sure many others also have the pleasure of experiencing!
I've been tipping in the app because I rarely carry cash, but I'll bring some just for this location next time!
Thanks again, I appreciate the entire team more than I could ever express 🙏🏼 Namaste 🕉️ -Daniel
Since I moved to this area in June 2022, I've had the pleasure of enjoying several Starbucks locations. I drive for work and have found a few great ones, but I come to this one almost every single day!
They know me not just by my name or my order, but also my voice when I go through the drive-thru 😎
There's something truly special about every single team member that keeps this place running and I'm blessed to interact with them as often as I do, even if it's only briefly 🙏🏼
Thanks for all you are, do, and give... I appreciate you! 🕉️
Keep up the amazing work and I'll see all your smiling faces...
Read moreI’m not giving this one star because of the coffee or the baristas. I’m only leaving this because of the terrible way the manager treats customers and the other employees. I was recently in Albuquerque and went to this Starbucks and ordered egg bites and a coffee. I was waiting for them and several food orders placed after me were served. I walked back up to the person who placed my order and asked about the egg bites. Here’s our exchange: Guy (I think his name was Jason): You didn’t order egg bites Me: I’m pretty sure I did Jason: You didn’t. Why do you think your order was so cheap? Me: I’m sorry, I didn’t notice the price, it’s early haha Jason: Well you didn’t Me: OK, can I order some egg bites Jason (sighs): Someone help this guy. I can’t deal with this The other team members were busy and no one jumped over immediately Jason (louder): I said I need someone else to help him A barista walks over and Jason walks away Her: I am so sorry, how can I help you? Me: I’d really just like to talk to your manager Her: That was my manager
I am absolutely shocked at not only the way I was treated but also the way he treated his team. This is totally unlike anything I’ve ever seen at...
