New Mexico Piñon Coffee — Restaurant in Albuquerque

The girl at the order window was SO rude. Ive never been here before and I typically go to the bigger coffee chains but since I live close and have been wanting to try, I decided to give it a shot. I absolutely HATE when I order something at the drive in and I can’t even finish my darn sentence before getting cut off with “anything else” like YES! Give me a freaking second to get there and you’d know. When we got to the window it was the most transactional and rushed interaction ..as expected. The only highlight was animal humane had pups outside, & that I got to love on. And they have nothing to do with the coffee place! Lol So I’ll say this. Although, yes we should support local—instances like this make it hard to. When at Dutch Bros Starbucks and 7Brew they’re SO nice. Even with a line to the street! Almost too nice, so they set the bar HIGH. The coffee is great tasting but since the drive up issue—I had an awful taste so it kind of ruined the whole experience for me. I wont...

This was my first visit to the new site near my house. I didn't want to brave a grocery store before having coffee, so I grabbed 2 pounds of Pinon, and two pounds of of dark roast. It's more expensive than store beans, but we'll worth it, especially with 50 percent off the second bag. I grabbed a cup each for me and my wife to drink while we ground the beans and made a pot. The wonderful young woman who helped me threw in some pastries for free. The pinon bear claw was bangin! The green chile scone was almost as good as mine. I'll choose Pinon over Sbx any day...

I’ve tried coming here 3 times already and every time I’ve drove off because the wait was too long with only 2 to 3 cars every time today as my fourth time stopping in, I left with a little extra time, knowing it would take a while sure not only two cars in front of me.
