IHOP — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I have to say that my son and I his kid and my daughter got out of church today and decided to go to IHOP. It was the worst experience that I've had around my family my kids. I'll explain why we sat down we waited for 15 to 20 minutes people were being seated parties of two parties of Threes our party was a Party of Five. Everybody was going through well I was observing that another party of five came in and they took the number before they called us they called them first. The lady mentioned to the guy that we were there first I had told the lady that's okay go ahead and go we've been waiting forever and everybody else has gone through I'm sure we're the last ones they'll feed us down. The employee there asked me if my name was Tina of course I'm a guy I got upset my name is not Tina and I don't look like a Tina. But that was the lady's name that he had called prior to the lady noticing that we were there first. The lady did give us the opportunity to go in first so your employee came up to me and apologized in my face in front of my kids are sarcastically. By this point I was very upset at the guy that was sitting us down because like I said my name was not Tina and the way he came up to me and said sorry and apologize to me was not very sincere. Then he said okay we're ready for you now like it bothered him that he had to take us before Tina. We proceeded to get up and go but my son asked if I wanted to go in I said no by this time I was very upset I didn't think we're going to have a good time so we decided to leave. My son got very upset he was very hungry so we're my grandkids but I didn't find a reason to stay there anymore. I did go back after we left I went back and I did cuss at your worker in front of everyone and I proceeded to leave. I left I came back home I called your manager and explain the situation and I apologize to her and her establishment but not to the guy that was sitting this down which I never got his name. I just wanted you to know and your company to know that it was the worst experience I've ever had I'm going out to a restaurant after talking to your manager she explained to me that I was not allowed to go back because of the cussing I explained to her that I would never go back or my family. To whom it may concern I don't expect anything in return. This is just one client that had a bad...

My fiance works at this location and the food is great and so is the service. Its the management that needs working on. They give free food away too much cuz customers are always complaining about something. Its ridiculous how much food they comp. The servers that work there do an amazing job, the best they can. I love eating here.

__Okay well now my girl doesn't work there anymore. Like I mentioned previously, the management sucks. They have guys running the place at nigh actually they only always have ONE guy managing all night 12 hours. Most of the time they don't do sh! They fired her because a guy from our high school went in to eat there and sat in her section so she had to serve him. Well he does not like her AT ALL! So, he complained about EVERYTHING and even went so low and immature and said she was asking him to buy drugs. Crazy huh? Why would she ask a guy that hates her that? Why would anyone especially an employee ask a customer that. But due to "policy" the manager working that night he had no choice but to let her go. She was devastated and when she was walking out that's when that guy walked out an she cussed him out, I thought a beat down was going to happen! She was om fire, pissed, angry, unemployed, fired because of this guy! What a douche who probably gets no pus* LOL excuse my inappropriate words.I felt so bad for her, she was crying all night! But now she is doing great, going to CNM college to get her vet tech but is currently taking pre-reqs right now before she starts the 2 yr program. I would NOT recommend this place. My 75 year old mother went into this restaurant ,with her own Styrofoam cup and simply asked for a cup of hot water so she could make a cup of tea in our rv,our stove was giving us problems so she couldn't warm it up herself, the waitress on 3rd shift told her no,that she had to be a paying customer to get a cup of hot water! The rude waitress then told her that this was policy because of all the homeless bums that are in the area,that if they gave them anything at all then the "bums" would hang around the restaurant and pester people,On this particular night,it was 23 degrees outside,FREEZING COLD! So what I am taking from that statement is the fact that IHOP is not only a sleazy,money hungry company,but also without ANY compassion at all for their fellow man! They charged us $1.08 for a cup of HOT WATER,and we used OUR OWN CUP! I certainly will NEVER eat at another IHOP,I don't care what city\state it is in. Any company that instructs their employees to be that heartless and greedy should be boycotted! Imagine yourself homeless, on a frigidly cold winters night and all you need is a cup of something hot to drink,but you have no money,but you managed to find your own cup to use all you need is HOT WATER and you are refused because you are a "homeless bum", HOW worthless you would feel?
