Pink Pony Soft Serve — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Pink Pony is a cute little soft serve shop tucked right off of Menaul right on the end of a residential neighborhood. The shop is pretty small and only has a little bit of bar style seating in front of the window, and a few tables outside, so if it's busy you might need to stand or take it to go.

They have vanilla, chocolate, and swirl for the ice cream base, and they have quite a few interesting toppings. M favorite is peanut butter sauce and chocolate but they have a lot more. They have some pre-set sundaes, or you can customize your own bowl. They also have milkshakes.

The soft serve is quite good. Creamier than the cheap stuff you'll get at restaurants. I do like rich ice cream more but this was also delicious.

The staff is really nice and the overall vibe of the shop is very chill. It's a little pricey but it's a small business and I know costs are high these days. It's a nice treat, but I wouldn't want to pay for it every day. I take my kids here often enough though, and look forward...

I was having a challenging morning this morning but then I wandered across Pink Pony Soft Serve! I just happened to be on the right street, it was 98°, and they just happened to not have a line. It was fate!

Their mint chocolate chip milkshake was exactly the thing I needed to turn the day around! I love mint chocolate chip so much but honestly, it's usually a little to minty for me. This one though was the perfect amount and the shavings on top were on the dark side. So delicious!

And they have the Zia prickly Pear soda! Zia Root Beer is my favorite root beer and I can't wait to try the prickly pear soda! They also have a root beer float made with tge zia root beer that I can't wait to try! And so many delicious ice creams on their Instagram page that...

Albuquerque has been a desert for delicious local ice cream shops, and I know I'm late to the game on pink pony! I was so happy to find this place when I moved back to NM. Delicious creamy ice cream and INCREDIBLE toppers, the homemade marshmallows are amazing and I love the variety they have on their menu. Service was great, woman working the counter was kind and knowledgeable and helped everyone in the shop in a timely manner. It was busy for a Wednesday night 30 minutes before close, and she handled the volume like a champ!
