Okay We were so excited to patronize this establishment tonight because on three other occasions we actually ordered takeout and the food was delicious and fresh and impressive. So needless to say we were excited to dine in. They were busy we could see but we were seated in a timely fashion. Many other people began to get seated around us, much larger tables as we were a party of two. We decided on a selection that we never tried before on our takeout runs, gave our order the server. We waited over an hour. Meanwhile the larger parties that were seated around us and other two tops that ordered after us, were getting served. The minutes kept going by and finally an hour and thirteen minutes later our food came. But the plates were ice cold. To the touch, the plates literally felt like they’d come out of the refrigerator. The food was ice cold. The cheese was not melted on top of the food like the menu reads. Lucky us… the server came back, who I will mention was not the original server that took our order in the first place, pretty quickly to see if there was anything else she could bring… we immediately expressed to her that we waited over an hour for our food and everything is ice cold. She took our plates back to the kitchen and several minutes later came back with our food with the same cold plates. The sides of whole pintos were reheated and so was the rice on each of the plates but the main entrees were cold. The steak was cold the chicken enchiladas were cold. It was really disappointing. Especially because nobody came back afterwards to make sure we were happy. It was a dismal dining experience and we won’t be back. Not even for takeout. Had they made any effort at all to suffice, I would be back , I would keep ordering takeout. But for those reasons, we’re out… Be...

Place looks filthy, walls all slimed with stains, the floor full of food, no one consistently sweeps between customers. Tons of flies inside. Kitchen is open so you can see people not wearing hair nets or hats. Some people preparing food with gloves which usually tells you they aren’t washing their gloves(Hands) for cross contamination. The kitchen looked like a mess, not organized or clean looking at all. Atmosphere is terrible for dine in. There’s 3 tables and 2 bar type tables. People are all around you standing in line to pay and pick up when you’re sitting in a table. Pretty uncomfortable. The staff seems related since they act too comfortable in there with a bunch of friends behind the register hanging out. The staff members had a car meet for their car club there today so they were ignoring the customers and kept going in and out of the store to be with their friends. Meanwhile took 20 minutes to get our drinks. They forgot our appetizers, they didn’t have several menu items available. Took about 35 minutes to get served. Kids menu is limited to chicken nuggets or quesadilla. Only pro was the food was tasty but all the issues ruined the experience. The restaurant has potential with good management. They are probably use to running a food truck which is a different ball game than an actual restaurant. I owned and operated successful restaurants in the past in other major cities so that’s where my insight is coming...

I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. The birria tacos were underwhelming; they tasted more like beef soup than anything else. The consomé lacked flavor and spice. Typically, birria tacos are crunchier or crispier, but these barely had a warm tortilla. We also realized afterward that the taco plate we ordered didn’t come with any sides, and I didn’t see any options for just three tacos without sides. I also tried the birria ramen, which was ok, but same issue as tacos. They didn't resemble birria consomé at all. It was ramen in beef broth and shredded beef. We ordered "table-side" guacamole, but it wasn't made at our table. While it was refreshing, it was overloaded with tomatoes and onions, leaving little room for avocado. Surprisingly, this was the highlight of our meal. The service was lacking, as the waitress and other staff were neither attentive nor friendly. To top it off, the front door was wide open on a chilly night when we dined around 7 PM, and our drinks arrived with our food instead of beforehand, and they were out of ice. That worked out since we were cold the entire visit. We’ve had their food before from their food truck, which was good, but we won’t be...

I love checking out new places and @LosPookies was at the top of the list. Their agua frescas were so good and their sauce. There was a good amount of birria in the tacos that 3 do get you full. The cuts of asada in the Pookie fries were a bit thick but they were still really good. Comment what your favorite agua fresca is! #Restaurantreview #foodtiktok #foodie #newmexicofood

we love being able to support local businesses, especially the car community. We have been supportive since they opened up the food truck, and since they opened up the restaurant we’ve had nothing but great service recently. The only thing is last night we went to go pick up our order. We ordered it online and paid for it. When we arrived to the restaurant they gave our order to someone else already so they told us it would be a 10 minute wait, we waited. We understood as well because sometimes mistakes happen. The guy that was helping us was very friendly but then someone else walked up and started giving us push back, once we receive the order we were missing the consume, we told the guy that was helping us originally that we were missing the consume and the other guy that was giving us pushed back before he told us that we didn’t pay for it and that we weren’t going to receive the consume so we had to show him the receipt online and we told him we did order it he kept giving us push back and just handed us the consume. The food is amazing here as well as the customer service but after last night, it wasn’t a great experience there was no apology received for the inconvenience.
