I made an appointment with Roy. I was running a few minutes late but as soon as he saw me enter the building he flagged me down and got started on my pedicure. Which came out lovely! He did nail art on my nails as well. I am very happy with his technique and his precision. I booked Roy because I like his work and patience. It was also nice of one of the nail techs to offer water to their customers. Thank you J&J! I will be back again 💅💅💅 9/1/24 Once again I returned to J&J. I made my appointment with Roy. As always he did wonderful service for me! I feel comfortable with Roy and he knows what I like and don’t like or he’ll ask me if it’s up to my liking. The nice part about Roy is he is a gentleman, when he finished my pedicure, he assisted me with putting on my sparkly sandals! Roy is a skilled salon technician that gives precise artistic work. The employees at J&J Nail Spa are very professional and friendly, they work as a team. Thank you J&J👍 11/28/24 I did a recent return to J&J. I guess you could say it has become my favorite nail spa to go! I’m comfortable with the employees and of course with Roy, who always does great work! I had a pedicure and nail art done. Roy was gentleman and did what I wanted for my feet and nails. I’m very pleased. Thanks Roy! Your da best! See you soon,,,,,, 12/26/24 Made my visit with Roy, of course! With an appointment. When I got there, he was working on another client. As soon as he was done with her, he came up to me and walked me over to attend to me. He worked very diligently and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Another worker handed out water to everyone. Very grateful for that. J&J Nail Spa is my place to go for my nails and feet. Thank you Roy, your service and work ethic are outstanding! Happy New Year to everyone at J&J! 5/22/25 Today I brought my daughter-in-law for my favorite nail tech, Roy, to work on her. She was satisfied with his work and said he did the exact thing she showed him of the picture! This is my go to nail...
Read morewish I could give it 0 stars. I got some solar nails done there on Thursday (it's now Monday) for my wedding. It took them over an hour and a half. It was by FAR the worst nail experience of my life. The lady who did them put them on unevenly, there were bubbles, all of them were jagged, one was so sharp, it put a hole in my shirt after I left, and several of my fingers were BURNING. I'm not typically a picky person, so the fact that I even got frustrated says a LOT. I went back and asked for it to be fixed. The lady SMACKED my hand and said she worked "real hard". I showed them to her and she "couldn't see the problem". I showed her boss, who said they were awful.
The lady then tried to fix them, but only sanded them down and refilled them. While I was waiting for them to dry again, another girl was in there and wanted to wash her hands because several of her finger were bleeding but got YELLED at and had rubbing alcohol held on her nails. My nails still had bubbles and I couldn't stay any longer, I'd already spent almost 2 hours getting horrible nails.
I demanded my money back and the only way they'd give it was to cut them all off, which was understandable - until they cut them so short and jagged that most of my fingers bled and all my fingers hurt. While he chopped them off, the gentleman "assigned" to the task said each nail was worse than the last and even apologized. But the boss threw the pen on the table for me to sign the refund receipt.
I still don't have my refund, but have gorgeous nails thanks to NV Nails on Montgomery and Wyoming.
Do yourself a favor and NEVER go...
Read moreI hesitate to give one star because I had a good customer experience. Everyone I encountered was very kind and professional. However, this wasn't a good nail job.
I got a dip gel manicure. My tech kept "fixing" my polish with her bare fingers numerous times for several of my fingers and layers. It left lumpy bumps all over but she was able smooth it over with the dremel tool and it looked decent at the end.
She only did one layer of clear coat. I asked if this was standard for their practice and she said yes. I asked if only one layer would cause chipping. She said no but she could do two top coats "if I want" after I already had oil all over my nails. I declined her "generous" offer.
Lo and behold, two days later the top coat began chipping on several nails. Four days later the actual dip nails began chipping off. I don't do manual labor. I don't work in a restaurant or have my nails in water all the time. Yet, I locked the deadbolt on my door, as one does, and my nail chipped off. I let it go. Because customer service was so nice. Right..?
Three days after that the nails on the nail beds began to lift up. I'm not a nail expert but I've had my nails done before and this has -never- happened.
We're now 11 days after I got my nails done and several gel nails have now completely come off my fingers and more are hanging on by a thread. This has never happened to me before. In my experience, my dip gel nails will stay on my fingers like concrete. That's why I've gone to a salon. If I wanted my nails to fall off after 10 days, I would have used a press...
