I was so exited to try this place out. I love cider on tap! I was sad to find out they no longer offer flights (because people keep stealing their sample cups and they won’t do flights anymore because of it.) However, they were happy to provide us samples. So we asked for about 6 different samples for the table. Strange… they were all brought to us in the flight glasses, so I guess there are glasses that remain after all? Our waitress brought us 3 additional samples based off our request. That was sweet of her. But then we got the bill and found out they charge for samples- we even got charged for the three samples we didn’t ask for that the waitress brought us on her own! Yeah, it was only 50 cents/sample… but it’s the principle of the matter. Our appetizer (soft pretzel) came out about 15 minutes after our dinner was delivered. The icing on the cake might have been them taking the MLB game off the TVs and instead launching some Bob’s Burgers. I love me some Bob’s…. but on a Saturday afternoon in Fall? When football and baseball games are on and we’re in a brewery?! And did it have to be on ALL 10 of the TVs in the place? It was such a weird afternoon. We’re out of towners so this is a one and done for us. But wanted to warn others of some oddities of...
Read moreI came here to taste the beers and ended up ordering their Sandia cider, which was surprisingly tasty. I usually don't go for ciders because they're so dense and sweet but this was light and refreshing! Made me wish I were poolside! Both of the IPAs (Desert Valley) I tried were very smooth and I couldn't decide between them! The Eclipse won in the toss up over the Honey IPA but it was very close. Didn't order anything besides the chips and queso but it hit the spot. The queso was a little ballpark-esque but it had a grip of chile so definitely no complaints. The food I scoped from my neighbors looked good so I will definitely try the hot food next time. Overall I'm impressed with the quality of all the brews I tried and the atmosphere is chill! Will be...
Read moreThe Craftroom has an excellent selection of beers and ciders to choose from. In particular, I found the biscochito cider and the Sandia to be outstanding! Each of their flavors were balanced quite well.
However, I need to dock off a star for the pizza I had there. The cheese didn't taste fresh. The sauce was bland; it needs more garlic, onion and herbs. The crust was bland, and could have been a bit more substantial. One slice fell apart in my hand. It took me back to memories of Chuck E Cheese cause it was MEDAGAN! Well, at least the pizza was edible, fairly cheap, and somewhat better than a frozen grocery store pizza. The quality of which is comparable to LaBrasca's pizza in South Carolina! Next time, I am avoiding it and going for one of the...
