I stopped here this morning on my way to work to treat myself heading into the end of a challenging week. It's on my way so I had been wanting to try it for some time and I'm so happy I did. I ordered a 16 oz mocha and the veggie burrito which has egg, potato, pico de gallo and cheese. The mocha, which I ordered with almond milk, was delicious. Nice and chocolaty without being too sweet. I was thankful the very friendly and pleasant gentleman behind the counter asked me my milk preference. The burrito was also delicious and HUGE. It was in a giant, thin, flaky tortilla, which I prefer over thick, floury ones. When I say huge, it's bigger than a Blake's burrito (which are awful these days, sorry to say) and will be 2 meals for me as I could only eat half and I am not a dainty eater. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were tender and the cheese was flavorful. I didn't pick up a lot of pico flavor, which I was fine with because I didn't want to taste it all day. It was seasoned perfectly and not too salty or bland. I was a little leery of the burrito since they are pre-made and in the glass case; you can either take it cold or they warm it for you. However, I now think this is brilliant as it does not diminish the taste whatsoever AND if you want to pick up burritos to eat at a later time they are perfect. You just can't beat a huge, delicious burrito for $5! I was too busy enjoying it to take a picture, but I did snap the attached pic of some awesome looking macaroon ice cream sandwiches which I shall be partaking of at a future date. They also have a selection of delicious looking pastries, treats, bubble teas and regular teas. Overall, great service, great quality food and drinks. I can't wait to bring my daughters and...
Read moreRio Rancho Location Really was unimpressed and won’t be returning. We only went because we’d received a coupon in the mail for a free frozen yogurt up to 5 oz. This is a place where you serve yourself, add your toppings, and essentially need to be able to tell you’ve not surpassed the 5 oz or they won’t accept the coupon. We got 2 frozen yogurts and a boba drink. One yogurt weighed 8 oz and the other, 6 oz. Because we went over by one ounce and because the employee weighed them both together, she would not accept the coupon or discount the 5 free ounces the coupon was for. They charge by the ounce. I really don’t understand why this was such an impossible issue, but no actual attempt was made to help. She just said, “sorry, you went over so I can’t take it.” End of story. I didn’t argue, as $3.75 isn’t worth the trouble, but it was enough to make sure I don’t go back. Nothing about the frozen yogurt or drink was special enough to ignore the poor customer...
Read moreWhile the place can get a bit busy, especially since they're pretty well known for their fantastic menu, the wait time is rarely ever longer than 5-10 minutes. They have the perfect balance of Covid guidelines but still an enjoyable place to sit and relax. All the deserts are homemade and taste amazing (especially for the price), and the drinks are always made with quality product. The staff are super friendly and if you're not sure what to get they will find a great fit for you in no time. The owner of Sweet Cup also owns the Poki Poki Cevicheria, and he is one of the most hardworking and dedicated individuals I've had the pleasure of talking with, and if you feel something could've been better he will always work to improve the experience of the customer. This place has coffee that rivals Starbucks, Boba that rivals Boba Tea Co, and deserts that give other chains a serious run for there money. I highly recommend giving this business...
