Par-T-Pub — Restaurant in Alcoa

Went in there tonight to pick up some to go food for the family while I was in the area. Sat there for a few mins till they came by. Asked if the kitchen was open, bartender said yes but acted annoyed. I asked for a menu and instead he asked for my ID. Wasn't asking for a drink. I'm clearly over the Age. (42) And it shows with my full peppered beard. But that's fine, Handed him my newly received temporary paper Id from the DMV. He proceeds to tell me he won't take my ID for whatever Bullshit reason. I love how the DMV says this is a valid ID that people will except then businesses like this act like they don't have to follow the law. We all know what it is, you think by doing that that you have power over someone. Your life is so petty that turning someone away makes you feel big. The man didn't say I couldn't use a paper Id cause he sat there and studied it for a few mins. I'm sure he was just being lazy and didn't wanna have to cook or take my order. I hadn't even planned to stay and wait for my food. Was gonna come back. What would have happened if I called in the food order. If you are the owner of this place, you need to take note. You will lose even more business with me cause I got a big mouth and love to call out crappy businesses. Good luck. Glad I didn't waste my time trying there food. I'm sure it was horrible...

If establishment has any issue with you and/or your personality, you will be Banned for whatever their reason is . No matter how much you try to speak to someone ... You do not get a straight answer Because you're told it won't do any good to speak to management. Is not a bad bar other than Staff/management who are not capable of hashing out whatever their differences are. At such a point, it seems like they have a set opinion of you no matter how many capable character witnesses speak for your true character otherwise..., Or how many people or how many guests you bring..., or how much money you spend... If you don't want to speak to me, take this one star review and thank you very much For the opportunity to find bigger and better places . Very attentive staff and decent wings! But...Had to ask for something to clean my hands after having wings. The staff did accommodate with a bar towel. But feel like wet naps should be automatically be offered. Need more selections for IPA and not crazy about the smoking atmosphere. But good atmosphere and friendly folk for a "corner bar" that's not...
