I just went to subs n such in Alcoa TN, it was minutes until closing on a thursday night three younger people were working and greeted me at the counter with smiles accepting me even though it was literally six or seven minutes until they closed I got my usual Italian sub and salad bar they left the salad bar out for me and a couple things they were out of they brought out and restocked the bar, when the sandwich came there always good now,but this was different next level all the toppings made it huge but it wasn't messy,it shows they took time to put it together right, they said for me to take my time, and after a while one came up to me so politely and asked if I was done with the bar,she said no rush just very pleasant, they got me the wraps bags and boxes everything I needed to pack up my leftovers ,because there was no way I could eat that awesome sandwich in one setting, as I left they gave sincere appreciation for my business, the atmosphere was awesome music from the 50 or 60 s playing light, hands down best experience I've had here ,and I've not had bad ones ,but this food was out of this world, whoever the crew was working close on Thursday night, they need to be taken care of,because I've never left a review, and this was that good I had to,if your traveling, or local,go to subs and such, you need to experience these awesome sandwiches and atmosphere,if you can't decide try the Italian sub ,steamed you'll be sorry you didn't,ha ha crew on Thursday night clos thank you so...
Read moreOrdered through Dinner Delivered. Thomas, (the nightshift assistant manager) is in charge all by himself on this beautiful Saturday (4-23-22). No one told Thomas how delivery works so he made the food and then refused to release it to the driver with out payment up front. Whe asked if he could call another manager that knows how it works his response was that they probably wouldn't have their phone since they're off. They might not have their phone Thomas but I guess you'll never know since you're not willing to try. I'd hate to think what would happen if there was actually an emergency at the store that required senior management...I guess it would have to wait until Monday when a real manager was present. Just keep your chin up Thomas. You probably won't run off THAT many customers or waste THAT much food before they actually give you some training. You'll eventually get it buddy...
Reply to the business response: I feel like I shouldn't have to use a particular app or website to place my order for a "seamless experience" when you have decided to offer delivery through multiple places. Thomas even stated he hadn't been trained on "any of the delivery stuff" ( I believe that was his wording) so my takeaway would be that it wouldn't matter what service I chose. It sounds like you are putting the burden of this problematic order on me instead of owning the lack of training given to an employee before leaving him in charge...maybe that's...
Read moreIt Truly pains me to do this, 6-7- 22/707pm, arrived to a nearly deserted subs and such. A nice man offered to help me use one of th3e "Kiosks" to order. I declined informing him that I had used them twice (on 2 $50 orders by the way) and they had never been right. H was surprised, but accepted my reason. I then ordered a footlong Italian on white, no mozzarella cheese Sharp Cheddar instead. Lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard, oregano, salt/pepper and oil/vinegar. Sandwich I had when I arrived home, Footlong Italian on white, NO Cheese, oregano, oil/vinegar or salt/pepper or spicy mustard. Meat, lettuce and tomato Only. When i called and asked to speak to a supervisor, the girl said "Whats it in reference to". I told her the shortcomings of my sandwich. She assured me all topping werte on it. I told her that was incorrect and offered to bring in half for her to check. At this point she said, "Well what do you wanna do, do you want it replaced? We can't take back a half eaten sandwich". I thanked her for her time and hung up. My order # was 262, she even checked it. 3 strikes and you're out. Damn Shame to, I always liked the place, Won't be around much longer with practices like that. $14.50 for a sandwich that literally had 3 of the 8 things I ordered. See you soon Firehouse, would rather buy from a local shop, but not...
