I found Azteca on a Sunday 9/15. Pregnancy cravings left me wanting tacos. Google suggested Azteca House! I was not disappointed. The portion size is def worth the price. Barbacoa so far is my favorite protein choice. I have had 9 tacos since that Sunday 3 separate trips. It was supposed to be my lil secret spot but I made the mistake of telling my mom who is now obsessed and so are her coworkers lol!
There is 2 TWO types of green(verde sauce) the white sauce is SPICY. & the green sauce is non spicy. I dont eat spicy I learned the hard way. 😆
They also make the tortillas fresh in front of you! There lemonade is great! There hibiscus 🌺 or Jamaica tea is pretty decent. Im not a fan but my mom is. It was too tart for my liking.
FYI: For those who dont speak spanish or are not fluent. Majority of my visits there is one server who speaks english and the cashier does as well. But ordering tacos are pretty easy for me. There is no real menu. What they have on the line is what they are serving. Inform the server exactly what you want bc if you dont say it they will assume thats all you want on the taco but they move so fast and talk amongst each other it feels rude to interrupt. Just be firm about your topping selections.
** if You have ocd like me they do not wear gloves but the establishment is very clean. I actually dont mind!
The line can become long fast! But never standing more than 10 mins.
There is ample seating inside & out! The outside atmosphere is so welcoming! I wish it wasnt so hot I would enjoy it one day. It is shaded and covered. Plenty parking. Never over packed.
Overall Azteca House is affordable with great food. I do believe there is so much on the menu to try but since there isnt one you kind just figure it out as you go. Or watch other patrons make items. Please...
Read moreFirst time here and I must say right off the back the service is excellent. Before I continue this review I would like to say that this review is based on my personal opinion and I DO NOT INTEND TO GIVE ANY NEGATIVE REMARKS but I will voice my opinion about the food. Everyone has different ways of seeing and tasting food so with that said I would like to start off by saying that the service here is excellent like I said in the beginning. There is plenty and I mean plenty of parking. Before entering the restaurant there is a huge outside covered patio with plenty of tables where you can sit and enjoy your food and the weather. As I entered I was expecting for it to be bigger inside with lots more seating but unfortunately it's small and seating is limited. It would be nice if they would use smaller tables and spread them apart. As far as the food goes they have a pretty good selection not bad. So on our first visit I had 3 tacos and my wife 2 (1) Barbacoa (2) Asado de puerco (1) Fajita (1) Guisado de costillas con nopales en salsa verde So the food is good it could be alot better if they seasoned it a little bit more. So I feel that the asado de puerco and the guisado de costillas could use a little more seasoning and salt and the chile for the asado could also use more seasoning aswell. The barbacoa taste good but too much like bay leaves. The flour tortillas are good just a little gummy for my liking but overall on a scale from 1-10 I give them a 7.5 and I do recommend this Taco House. The service is great its very clean and welcoming and like I said the...
Read moreWe were just there on a Sunday morning and it was our first time. I would NOT return. It was recommended by an acquaintance. The line to order is chaotic and you don’t know what’s on the menu until you get to the front of the line. That’s fine, but then you have the food servers SCREAMING at you and becoming ANGRY if they don’t hear you. My brother asked for a menudo and the food server was angry because SHE got the order wrong. Instead of arguing back, just make the order right. My family and I are respectful, but these food servers need an attitude adjustment. The one person who was nice was the cashier. The food looks good, but it’s much too salty and fatty. I’m not asking for healthy food, but the saltiness and fat was too much. My Dad couldn’t finish the menudo because it was too fatty. The carne guisada was dripping in fat and now my mouth palate is even greasy. On top of this, the table waitress was rushing us out when we were still trying to eat. Because of all this, I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t...
