Tacos el Trueno (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Aldine

Ok, this will definitely be my new taco spot! I am pretty particular and this place checked all my boxes. The tortillas taste so good and have the perfect amount of crisp, the flavorful meat (and plenty of it) even the spicy potato you get are all so good. I was even asked how I like my tripa. I prefer it crispy and it was on point. I usually never order tripa because most places just do a horrible job, but I really enjoyed theirs. Most importantly…”drum roll”….the salsa is ACTUALLY spicy! I really liked this place especially the torta and the tacos, but this past time we went the food was not good at all. My boyfriend and I tried the bistec but it was so dry and had no flavor. Our stomach was kind of hurting the next day. We were so disappointed because other times we have gone, the food was so good. Then one of guys working there tried to charge my boyfriend again for an horchata but he had already paid him. I have no idea what that was about...We might go again some day because it might of just been an off day or...

This place has the absolute BEST charro beans I have EVER had! They have what’s called “Frijoles Especiales” or “Special Beans” . You have to ask them to give you the onions and cilantro to add to it.

These frijoles especiales have ground beef in it already, seriously amazing.

I usually take it to go but if the weather is nice I will stay and eat there at their patio tables.

Parking is rocky but the tables are set over concrete....
