They are friendly and charismatic. Not sure how to explain it, somewhat feels like home but at the same time it's a comfortable place to go too get a break from my home. I placed an order online for carry-out and when I arrived everything was ready right on time. The aura was so welcoming I decided to stay and eat instead of rushing home. I took a seat outdoos and planned on eating a few slices with my cappuccino or expresso (I don't know the difference) but I do know it was by far the best coffee product I have ever experienced personally I did add three packets of raw sugar. I highly recommend it. I'm guessing I must have lost track of time... After short quick 2 minutes my pizza disappeared. Okay maybe it was 10 minutes but during that time there was a road crew of 6 workers running a tractor and jackhammers, for that short period it's like they vanished, or I somehow entered a complete state of bliss it was peaceful experience. Wasn't long until I found myself back inside asking to speak to the guy that rang me up... The lady ask me what what is going on is there a problem. I told her yeah... I said I need everyone to know how amazing that was and the only problem is Im gonna need two more of those pizzas. And that coffee cappuccino or expresso whatever it's called. I don't know how they did it but they had two more pizzas cooked and ready to go in under 10 minutes. I was so shocked and told us that how I grew up as a kid McDonald's was the only place I went to eat out, some nights we were lucky enough to get dessert every now and then my dad would show up around 3:00 a.m. speaking foreign languages with leftover pizzas from the local pub. Okay I might have left the part out about the pub pizzas but it's true and we loved it. But I did mention the McDonald's and also I told them about my favorite dinner growing up was Bean sandwiches on plain white bread. This is my first time at Aldo's Italian kitchen. I can't wait to come back and try more. Btw the Tiramisu is fantastic and it goes great with cappuccinos expressos... A win win win situation deciding to stop here!.... The only thing I regret now is giving the construction crew one of my pizzas lol but they definitely deserved it. Also I think my original order came out to around 30 bucks for 1 Pizza, 1 tiramisu, 1 cappuccino-espresso, and 1 chocolate protein shake. It was...
Read moreLived by this place for the past year, but just now made it for dinner. Man do I not regret coming sooner. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner who directed us to a table. Every guest who walked in was greeted this way, some he knew by name who were clearly regulars. Everyone also gets a heartfelt thank you and salutations on the way out. This genuine hospitality is very special and certainly rare.
The atmosphere was not what I expected for a place tucked away in corporate rental office space. Outside are some tables on a spacious patio area. However, the inside is very charming with warm, dim lighting, black and white check floors, and earthy reddish-pink walls with an open kitchen. It is very cozy and inviting despite it's exterior.
As i.otesdive as the owner's warmth and hospitality was the food. I had the gnocchi in Aurora sauce. It was absolutely delectable! The gnocchi was tender (and I suspect freshly made) and perfectly cooked. The creamy, tomato based sauce it came in was a cheesy, galic-y, Herby delight. The portion size was also very generous and, it was just the right amount for my large appetite. Also included was complementary garlic bread and a small dessert which were also fantastic.
Beyond blown away by this place. They have definitely earned themselves a regular customer. Can't wait to go back and try something new! I implore you to do the same and support this wonderful human and...
Read moreI rate Aldos Italian Kitchen 5+. I needed a restaurant to have a post cemetery family gathering for over 50 people on Saturday, 5/23/25 from 2:00 to 4:30. I live in Florida and the burial was in Alexandria, Virginia and was less than 3 weeks away. I read reviews and talked to several restaurant possibilities close to the cemetery for 30-35 people. I decided on Aldos Italian Kitchen based on reviews and conversations with the owner, Emanuele Cognetti. The Restaurant does not open until 4:00 on Saturdays so Emanuele could fit us in. As the date for the event came closer, the number of attendees grew to over 50 people and Emanuele was able to accommodate all, and the food was superb with impeccable service for the entire time. Emanuele was even able to adapt a few special requests for gluten free dishes once the group gathered. His staff was helpful with serving the buffet style setup which included 2 entrees, salad, rolls and great pizza. They served beer wine and soft drinks to all upon request and always with smiling faces. Aldos made this sad occasion into a comfortable family get together “A Celebration of Life”. The restaurant was classic Italian style with plenty of room for all and the price was very reasonable. If you live in the area, you must visit Aldos Italian Kitchen and I am sure once you do, it will be a regular on your restaurant visits in the future. –...
