First of all, let me just say I am a Tech/Nerd guy and I built a brand new PC from scratch back in April. Ever since I built my PC my computer kept randomly restarting. I did everything I could to fix the problem, I tweaked my bios, GPU and software settings based on all the google search I done and to no avail, the problem still persisted. I then started replacing my hardware one by one, upgraded a new GPU, new PSU, new RAM, new Mobo and the problem was still there. I was losing my mind because normally I would fix other people's computers if they needed help and I couldn't figure out why my new PC build was acting funny.

My last resort was to call up a PC Repair guy, I always been skeptical about repair shops like Geek Squad and other repair shops because I been a help-desk guy before and all they do is google searches and over-charge on work that could easily be fixed. I was so frustrated because I dumped a lot of money in new hardware, I decided to look for reputable reviews and came across Rich's website.

I requested a quote from Rich online and he responded within an hour and even offered to come by my house to do an estimate. To my surprise Rich showed up early and was a very friendly and outgoing guy, he didn't seem shady as pre-conceived by me at all. Again, I am skeptical about pc repair guys so I tested Rich on his knowledge about my set-up and Rich dived right into my computer and started pointing out stuff to me and explaining things to me in a very simple manner even though he knew I was a tech guy, I appreciated him walking me through step-by-step of his diagnosis. Rich is very genuine and even called me out on a few elite stuff I do that can be harmful to my computer but was not judgmental at all.

Rich gave me a very reasonable quote and off he went with my computer to fix my security issues, re-format and re-install my windows, reinstall my new mobo and re-install my PSU platinum 1000w. I didn't really need to do the re-installs but I wanted it done professionally and properly since I am paying for a PC Repair.

Within 24 hours, Rich returned with my new pc better than ever. He fixed the security compromise on my computer and my new rig layout was super clean. He even added a thermal pad for my SSD Card and made it super clean. My software was all up-to-date with extra add-ons he installed that really impressed me because he knew what I liked and was able to find the right tools for my computer to stay strong in the future. He really did impress me and now I am happy to say I that I will 100% recommend Rich any day to my friends and family who need a pc fix. I will use Rich again in the future because I have an extra laptop that could use some repair and when I upgrade my new rig to be bigger and better, I told Rich I will call him again. EDIT 10/26/22 - I had to add onto my previous review from 6 years ago, as we have had another awesome customer service experience and resolution courtesy of ABC Computers Repair.

Had an issue with our main PC's SSD, causing it to crash, fail to load media, failing to install updates etc. Contacted ABC very late in the evening and they were at our home the next morning. Explained the resolution and picked up the PC, and within 24 hours I received texts confirming the repair was complete. ABC worked around our schedule to return the PC to us in person, and declined to discuss payment until we confirmed we were satisfied with the repair. Our PC is back to working like new!

I had an Asus laptop with a corrupted drive and which had stopped booting entirely for months; also, my LG G4's entire front panel was shattered recently so I decided to get both fixed at once. So I started calling around and every place had either an inconvenient turnaround time or was way too expensive, with costs for even diagnosing the issues before fixing it. Most required me to drop off the items, wait days for a diagnosis and price, and have to wait even longer for repairs.

So I was pleasantly surprised that ABC Computer Repair (Richard) was willing to come to our house at a convenient time for us, pick up the laptop, look at my phone and order the necessary parts right in front of me, and charged nothing for that part of the service. While fixing my laptop we were in consistent contact via text to keep me updated. He then dropped it off back at our house, working flawlessly (he even reinstalled a bunch of software I had told him I use on Windows, and configured several settings to get me started), and proceeded to fix my phone right in front of us in our dining room.

Price for all services was very reasonable and he did not discuss making payment until everything was done and he was sure we were completely satisfied. He even let us know to feel free to text him whenever we have any questions at no charge within the next 90 days.

My graphics card went bad on my macbook and Richard had to replace my motherboard because the graphics card is attached to the motherboard. When he initially replaced my motherboard it went bad again in a couple of days. So Richard had to order another brand new motherboard for my macbook. Richard placed the order the week before Christmas and because it was the holidays I did not know when I would get my macbook back. I told Richard that I needed to have a working laptop (windows or mac) because I had school and other projects I needed to work on. He understood and gave me his personal macbook pro to use for the 3 weeks I did not have my laptop. I was not expecting him to propose that idea at all. But I took him up on his offer because he honestly told me that he did not know when he would get the new motherboard from the vendor, so therefore he did not want me to be without a laptop. I appreciated Richard's honesty and willingness to put the customer first. This is what great customer service is all about. I am glad I found Richard when my graphics card went bad because he has been nothing short of AMAZING! I wish I could give him 10 stars, but google only lets me give him five haha.
