Found out about this Gem in Old Town from a couple on the street randomly, " you guys should check out Casa Luna!"
And that WE DID!!!
I wouldn't call it a speakeasy, but it's unassuming...it's perfect for intimate gatherings or a social space to drop into. Loved the diverse music and the attention to detail in their drinks.
On to the customer experience:
Liz and Andrew were very welcoming. It was a complete vibe, tucked off below a sushi restaurant (haven't tried the food). We took a seat at the bar and met Kelvin, the mixologist extraordinaire! Crafted up a few mezcal cocktails and enjoyed the music.
Enjoyed myself so much I asked to come back for my birthday in a few weeks, and AGAIN the entire experience was A1. Easy reservation and enough space for the 20 folks invited.
Liz and Kelvin took care of my guest and had a complimentary birthday toast.
Overall experience 5/5 and has taken the #1 spot for cocktails in old town. (My #2 spot is People's Drug).
The drinks, music and vibe of Casa Luna is Highly recommended.
P.S Literally a week ago, a friend who came for my birthday weeks prior, invited me out for their birthday...and guess what? It was at...
Read moreAbsurdly expensive, poor cocktails, bad service. How did they make a French 75 taste like cleaning spray? I asked for Lunazul in my paloma (the drink was fine, nothing amazing), which is actually cheaper than the tequila it comes with. Instead of being charged the $11 that Lunazul costs or the $13(?) that the paloma costs, I somehow got rang up for $18! For a paloma! My girlfriend's undrinkable French 75 was also $18+. My paloma initially came out as a mezcal paloma (which I didn't order); upon telling our server the mistake, she simply took it away silently, offering no apology or even a comment. Service was glum, borderline rude (and I hate people that complain about rude service), the bartenders were yelling wildly at times. All show, no go. I don't understand all the positive reviews. Some of them are definitely written by AI. Apart from that, I guess people just want their Instagram photos here. The vibes are cool, but I won't be returning. It's easy to find MUCH better cocktails down the street for 50% less...
Read moreAfter a fantastic dinner at Barca, our group of five headed over to Casa Luna to wind down the evening — and it was the perfect choice. Although the bar was fairly busy when we arrived, Gloria made sure we were comfortable while waiting and kept us informed about the next available table. Her attentiveness set the tone for a great experience.
Once seated, Gloria quickly walked us through the menu and took our drink orders. We started with a round of espresso martinis, which were expertly crafted and a perfect way to kick off our Casa Luna visit. Our table was located near a projector showcasing scenic views from around the U.S., which added a calming, cozy vibe to the space.
Following the espresso martinis, the standout cocktail was the Lychee Martini — fresh, flavorful, and quickly a favorite among the group.
A big thank you to Gloria and the Casa Luna team for the delicious drinks and the warm, laid-back atmosphere. It was the ideal spot to end an already memorable night. We’ll...
