China Buffet — Restaurant in Alexandria

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered from the online menu for an order to go. I ordered the house special combination fried rice and my wife ordered the Szechuan chicken and some egg rolls. The first Red flag was that the price I paid didn’t match the menu. 2 entrees and 2 egg rolls for $33. Menu price was $21. I didn’t say anything. We went to eat at our hotel which is just a quarter mile away. I’m not sure how it’s possible but both entrees were absolutely void of flavor that even copious amounts of soy and salt couldn’t resolve. The egg rolls had flavor but they were bitter and mushy. My wife asked me to drive her back and she brought back 98% of the food and asked for a refund. They gave her $14 back and said it was all they could do. I call BS. It was literally the worst food I have ever eaten and I ate some bad stuff when I was young and broke in my 20’s. I am 55 now so that is a lot of time to experience worse food. Save yourself the time and pick somewhere else. The only time I would recommend going there is on Tuesday’s. Because they are closed...

Drove up really excited to eat some Chinese. Arriving it seemed clean and well lit which I was a fan of. Sat down to finally dig in and all the food was cold. Not many options as to what to eat because it was all picked over or the rice options were stuck to the bottom of the pan burnt. Very expensive for what it was. The ice cream I was really looking forward to but instead there were packaged ice cream cups in a freezer that was frozen so hard it bent spoons. Oh! Then to add to it all when they were cleaning tables there was a big 5 gallon bucket they would dip their rag in instead of a spray bottle and clean rag during this pandemic. Probably won’t ever be back due to not good...

Overpriced , ok food. They made us wait till after we ate to pay , usually at buffet you pay before you go in. They said drinks were included in buffet BT charged us for beverages, when confronted she did take off drink charge , bt in my opinion clerk was very hard to understand and waitress was rude. Would not recommend. My mom asked why salmon had green stuff on asked , employee he did not know , he preseaded to ask another employee she did not know this didn't make me feel confident about food quality if he could not answer what was on salmon served.
