Stopped here on our way from the Cities to Fargo, and I can't recall a worse experience. It was hovering around zero degrees, but they clearly didn't take care of anything at all. The whole parking lot was iced over, and even with winter tires and a decent car, I almost crashed into the drive thru speaker twice, and had to back away from the window. When I got to the window, my card got declined because I didn't realize a payment went through. I apologized and transferred money over, and I tried it again and it got declined again. We tried my friend's card, but before I had the opportunity to hand it over, the lady at the window told us "we can't keep doing this you're holding up the line." The line of zero people waiting behind us. I can't believe I didn't talk back to her, and when her demeanor shifted aggressively as she handed us our food, suddenly, a cheery "have a good day" came out of her mouth, it set me off.
I can't speak for the rest of the employees, and the food was fine, it was about what I'd expect from a KFC, but the place was not maintained at all, it was straight up dangerous trying to get around the drive thru, and the lady I interacted with was awful.
Go somewhere else instead, there's tons of fast food options...
Read moreFirst off, it was dirty. The windows were smudged, there were crumbs on all of the tables, chairs, and floor. There was really no excuse for it being so dirty, since it wasn't busy. The food was mediocre at best. The buffet was chickenless for about half the time that I was there. I'll rank everything I tried in order from best to worst. The mashed potatoes and gravy were great. It was soft and flavorful. The chicken was good. Nothing special though, certainly not worthy of a chain of restaurants centered around it. The crust of the chicken was very greasy and soft, but the chicken itself tasted good. Their jello was good, which surprised me. It had more flavor than most of their buffet items. The cake was okay, but extremely soggy to a point of it being more of a mix between cake and a smoothie. The coleslaw was bland and tasted like something you would buy from a cheap grocery store. Pudding was bad. The biscuts were dry. I couldn't manage to take more than a few bites of it. The beans were gross. Hard and flavorless is how I would describe it. The one bright side of the experience is that the employee that manned the register was friendly, but that isn't enough to give this KFC more...
Read moreWent in drive through and ordered the $32 dollar meal with a jug of drink. They didn't give us spoons for the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. No cups or straws for the drink. No napkins for greasy chicken. We come back through the drive thru and ask for spoons, napkins, straws and cups. They say "how many" we say "4" and they tell us to pull forward. The employee shoved a bag out the window and let the windows slam shut. We received 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 spoons, no lids and no straws. We wait 3 minutes for them to come back to the window, while we made calls to the store and the line was "busy" (though most of us know the fast food places keep their phone off when they don't want to deal with calls.) "Need something else?" they say. "Yeah, straws and lids for the cups," then they leave and come back with the items without further words. The food was good, customer service awful. If you choose to go, either walk in to be sure you can get everything quick or be prepared for attitude in...
