Checked into the Super 8 off the highway in Alexandria for what I thought would be a simple, no-frills overnight stay. You know the kind—free Wi-Fi, vending machines, maybe a waffle in the morning. But from the moment I walked into the lobby, something didn’t sit right. It was too quiet. Not peaceful quiet—empty quiet. Like the building had been waiting. The hallway to my room stretched too long, the kind that seems to breathe behind you as you walk. The carpet? That tired, geometric pattern that loops like it’s trying to hypnotize you. I half expected to see a tricycle rounding the corner. My room was clean enough, but the lighting buzzed overhead in a way that felt...personal. The kind of flickering hum that sounds almost like whispering. I kept the bathroom light on all night—not out of fear, but out of a strange respect, like I didn’t want to upset whatever was settling in the walls. The staff were polite. Would I stay again? Probably not. But if you’re into eerie silence, long carpeted hallways, and waking up with that strange sense that something watched you all night... this place is perfect. Just don’t stay in Room 237. I mean—131. Or whatever they call it here.

If the staff wasn’t so friendly and helpful this place would get a no star. My room is DAMP, the entire stay it’s been nothing but palpably damp and the carpet is absolutely disgusting. I made the mistake of taking my toddlers shoes off thinking my hotel room would be clean, but instead the carpet just turned the bottom of his feet black!

Excellent for the price!! Becky was awesome. She offered to fill my jug with filtered. They had a Bible in the room, the most precious item of all. May the Lord keep it fully booked and bless its owner, employees and guests.

Now let me explain why first of all I don't like this hotel it's because of when my boyfriend booked it I'm booked at.com he had reservations for it well they say that the system went down and lost the reservation and they gave us a so-called sweet but it does not look like a sweet because you can throw a king size bedroom and to a small room that is not a sweet second of all when I came back yesterday not looking at the room first before we went to a party there was blue cleaner in the bathtub now usually you would think staff would try to clean that up before and don't get me started on the breakfast it ain't a breakfast if it's just fruit cereal and toast usually there's supposed to be eggs sausage you know stuff like that now I understand this hotel is probably not having a lot of spending money for that type but at least try to do a little bit of warm breakfast besides toast and cereal but good thing that I could say that the air conditioner works it's nice Yes it's a little bit loud a great size refrigerator a nice comfortable couch and now I have to get started on the king size bed well it's comfortable but it sinks down until you either sit in it or until your body gets used to it and you do have an iron board and an iron a long length mirror good TV you have three lights plus the bathroom light of course you do have an ice bucket also you do have storage containment USBs on one by the bed One on the so-called counter one on the wall and the other one that's right...

I had come in from an awful situation.. from my first phone call to reserve a room I had felt like a human. The management is wonderful.. make you feel at home! The variety at breakfast is amazing.. sooo many choices.. I was actually shocked because it’s normally the basics. Wide variety of tea & coffee all day.. with honey packets.. seems small but I was impressed with the honey packs! My dog was also welcomed with open arms & pictures! I had the best experience here.. ❤️🦋💯

Update: Left hotel way earlier than expected and you need to check your cameras.. ALOT of activity between hotels. Also, reading previous reviews you are aware of the situation at hand.. and there are cameras inside the hotel you could review. Yes, that back door is never locked, a dog attempted to attack my dog, cops called numerous times, according to them this drug activity has been an ongoing issue. I can not believe for a second that management is not aware. Also, you have some corrupt employees, not all but a few. That also hang out across your lot at other hotel. Many people come in from the other hotel. I suggest calling and requesting police records. It doesn’t look good for your hotel when guests have to get police escort to get out and then the cartel follows you down 94 for 2 hours.. it’s insane. You are the one who said “Give yourself Grace” Yet, I had the most terrifying encounters staying there and yes your employees were also made aware, so that is on them for not...
