We eat here all the time as a family and I need to warn others how they seem to always mess up on our order every time we eat there. We always remind each other how our order is always messed up at the Alexandria Culver’s. They just have low standards. They seem to take the order properly, and we feel Iike it’s gonna get to us the way we want it. But that assumption is very deceptive. I understand that they serve a very high volume of customers per day. But there are other restaurants with the same amount of high volume of customers as well. For example, my order at McDonald’s is never messed up. Not only do they listen to what the customer wants, but that’s what you will get in the bag as well. But not at the Alexandria Culver’s! I could go there to eat today, and I guarantee you that my order will not be correct. They hand out orders way too fast in the parking lot. I have even had my order thrown in my lap in the car a few times. Obviously they are rushed all the time and not friendly. I might start to look thru my bag to make sure the order is correct before they even walk away from my car. I know Culver’s won’t like that, but too bad. If the order is not correct, I am not driving away. And please, when you hand customers a concrete mix desert malt, please wipe the container off before you hand it to the customer in the drive thru! People do not want a messy malt container to deal with in their car. It’s very unprofessional!! I’m just so tired of this Culver’s messing up! It’s been going on for too many years!! And it seems to never change! 1 star from me! And also play music that everyone knows and loves, it doesn’t always have to be a...
Read moreThe food was decent, the malt I ordered was rather pathetically sized for a "large", amd they forgot SEVERAL things from my order, making me go back up for the cheddar dip, the fries, two orders of onions rings and my cheese curds.
And this might be a little petty, but after making so many mistakes, they still made me pay for every single itrm that they'd forgotten, and making it worse the employees were sarcastic/mocking about it... "Rhonda, [name changed to protect the possibly innocent plus I don't remember the exact actual name] would you please get this man his fries and cheese sauce? They're REEEAL important to him." (eyeroll). "I'll grab these onion rings and cheese curds so that he don't STARVE." All in a deadpan sarcastic tone, with direct eye contact with my the whole time... made me feel like I had to watch to make sure that no spit got added to my food, and when I thanked her afterward for the correction (despite having had to pay in full), her only response was another eyeroll.
Plus the food was only... meh. I know it's a better restaurant for non-vegetarians, but like, I've had MUCH better fries and onion rings before, for cheaper. At least the malt was delicious, despite being small for something supposedly...
Read moreI had tainted French Fries. I only ate 4 & became very sick before I got out of the city limits in Alexandria. Had to pull the car over. Unfortunately I treated my dogs to them too & they also began vomiting 🤢 I called so that others may not experience this as well. The assistant manager was young & oblivious how to fill out a report. After telling her I was vomiting, her first question to me was, "Are you nauseated?" My response, "Really, I just told you I am throwing up in my car & we have pulled over twice." She apologized & said she did not know what she was doing. She did take down my name & address & no further communication on whether we will be reimbursed has taken place, or even if others got sick. It has been more than 3.5 weeks.
I appreciated the special needs man who brought our food out to us. He was happy, & wished us a good Labor Day weekend, even though it was...
