DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT BECAUSE MINE DID AT APPROX.. 7:00 PM JULY 26TH, 2015 I ORDERED A SPECIALTY SANDWICH DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER WITH BIG MAC SAUCE AND EXTRA ONIONS. ONIONS ARE MADE A LITTLE CRISPY SO CRUNCHING ON THEM AND SWALLOWING I DIDNT THINK ANYTHING OF IT (YOU READY FOR THIS IT WAS ACTUALLY LITTLE PIECES OF GLASS) . BUT WAIT THERES MORE AS I TOOK A SECOND BITE IT FELT LIKE MY TOOTH FELL OUT OR I WAS CRUNCHING ON A BRICK IT WAS A LARGE SHARD PIECE OF GLASS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BURGER UNDERNEATH THE MEAT HIDDEN SO TO SPEAK. I BEGAN TO IMMEDIATELY SPAZE OUT. I LIVE VERY FAR SO IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET BACK TO THE MCDONALDS. WHEN I ARRIVED I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER "LUIS JUANES" HE WS VERY RUDE AND HOSTILE HE TRIED TO MAKE ME OUT TO BE A LIAR CLAIMING HE DOSENT KNOW WHERE THE GLASS CAME FROM THE KITCHEN IS CLEAN ETC. I COULDNT COMMUNICATE WITH HIM SO THE GENERAL MANGAER CAME OUT "CARLOS MATEOS" HE HAD A BETTER ATTITIDUE ABOUT THE SITUATION BUT STILL NO APOLOGY OR VERBAL RECONCILLATION WAS BROUGHT UP FOR MY ALMOST "DEATH" SITUATION. SO MANY THINGS RUN THROUGH MY HEAD IM NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF EATING GLASS!! YES IT WAS A FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE WITH ME AS THEY HAVE SCARRED ME OF MCDONALDS AND FAST FOOD PLACES IN GENERAL. THEY INCONVENIENCED MY TIME,LIFE AND MONEY. NEGLIGENCE ON THERE BEHALF. THIS LOCATION WASNT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL EVERYONE HANGING AROUND LAUGHING JOKING NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THERE JOB THAT THEY GET PAID TO DO THAT TAX DOLLARS PAY TO KEEP THESE FRANCHISES OPEN. Read moreMy twin boys (16) and their friend placed mobile orders at this location Friday evening . As they waited for their food another group of young black boys, snatched a womens food she ordered from the counter and ran out of the store. Afterwards the counter clerk wouldnt give my sons their food. And told them he wouldnt until they gave them the info of the other kids who took the food. However, My kids weren’t with the other group that was already there when they arrived.
Upon my arrival, the manager and the counter clerk were very rude to me. Her reaction was they cant eat here and I cancelled their order. I asked her why and she said because their friends snatched someones food and ran. I asked her how did she know they were friends. She said because they all were sitting at a table laughing together. My kids arrived at the McDonalds at 7:42 pm per my tracking device. I asked her do all black kids look alike and hang with other? She said well thats their friends! And they cant eat here. I then asked here if that was their friends then why are my kids still in the McDonalds awaiting their food. Why would they risk getting arrested if they were guilty? She shrugged.
Per my kids after the altercation they were treated as suspicious. The counter clerk came from around the counters to serve other guest as if my sons and their friend were going to take someones food. And were VERY nasty to them.
As a very frequent customer to 20492 I am very disheartened by their discriminatory behavior. And the way the store manager at the time and the counter employee both foreign decent treated my kids and their friend. The level of unprofessionalism when I arrived was the same standard my sons were given. Ordered mobile order takeout, picked up by drive thru last night and was treated extremely rude by staff and told I must be broke and don’t have enough money. I prepaid online for my order that came to $10.31 including tax. They told me at the window they couldn’t give me my food because my card had declined, however I had a charge for 10.31 on my card at the time from McDonald’s. They then told me that my card only approved 10.31 of a $13 order and that I hadn’t paid. So instead of offering me the option of getting my money back ($10.31) or being able to pay the additional remainder that WAS’NT listed when ordering in the app, she instead told me, “you have no money, then you can’t get food.” This all after explaining to her the total price it said when I originally ordered and that I had already been charged. When I asked for a manager she said no and that I could come back another day to complain when she wasn’t there. I then went to another location (same evening) with the same order on duke street and would you believe it, it was 10.31 and no issues at all. This is not my first time with an issue using mobile order at this location. I just don’t understand how your mistakes and glitches with mobile order becomes the customers fault and gives you the right to belittle me and attempt to steal 10.31 from me with your fraudulent behavior of changing the prices after approving payment for a different amount.
