Rosemarino D'Italia isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that whispers of cozy Italian evenings. The soft lighting, the gentle murmur of conversation, and the subtle aroma of herbs and simmering sauces create an atmosphere that's both elegant and welcoming. The star of the show: the food. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with an obvious passion for authentic Italian flavors. During my recent visit, the homemade pasta was cooked to absolute perfection – al dente with a delightful chew. The sauce, rich and vibrant with fresh tomatoes and fragrant basil, tasted like it had been simmering for hours. And then there's the service. Attentive without being intrusive, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations. They anticipated our needs with grace and made us feel like valued guests. It's the kind of service that elevates a good meal to a truly memorable occasion. Rosemarino D'Italia manages to strike that perfect balance – exceptional food, warm and inviting ambiance, and impeccable service. It's a true gem and a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic and delightful Italian dining experience. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to...
Read moreI am a resident of Del Ray, and I am generally hesitant to leave any negative reviews for local restaurants. However, I believe there is room for improvement in the food quality at this particular restaurant. I have tried several pasta dishes at this point, and I feel that I could replicate most of them at home with similar or better results. During my recent visit, a friend's dish was overcooked, and my other friends also expressed similar sentiments about their meals. I found that my pasta lacked flavor, and the added chicken did not elevate the dish (no flavor at all) Additionally, the temperature inside the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, especially considering the summer weather. This made the dining experience quite challenging for us. Most of us were covered in sweat after 1 hour of dining indoors. On a positive note, the servers were courteous and attentive. The overall experience was negatively impacted by the mediocrity of the food, the uncomfortable temperature, and the high noise levels when multiple groups were present. With all the options for Italian available in this area, I would go here last, which is a shame since it’s so close...
Read moreMy dad and I traveled to Alexandria VA to visit family before they moved out of town. We decided to go to dinner and my family lives across the street from multicultural restaurants. We decided to walk to Rosemarino d'Italia since they were so close. We were instantly greeted and sat at a table that fit us with some extra chairs. The place has good atmosphere, waiters were very friendly, and their menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes. We ordered vegetable pastas, fried mozzarella, grilled salmon, sauteed mushrooms, and alfredo pasta. All of the servings were full-sized. The quality of the food was fresh and delicious!!! I love their fried mozarella with marinara. Theyre thick like patties!!!! Their bread, olive oil +herbs, vegetable pastas, sauteed mushrooms, & alfredo sauce are amazing!!!! Try their bread with the olive oil & herbs its exquisite!!!! They also have wine which seems quite decadent. There was so much food that we took to go containers with us!!! We ordered I recommend everyone who likes Italian food or cultural food to go to Rosemarino d'Italia for great food and quality service. I will definitely be...
