Sam’s Southern Eatery — Restaurant in Alexandria

This place had a very nice atmosphere. The inside was clean, and I was addressed as soon as I approached the counter. I ordered an oyster poboy, fried chicken wings, and a fish and shrimp plate , all to go. My order was completed online. So, my experience started when I picked up my food. It was ready as soon as I arrived at the counter. Customer service was excellent. I'm in town visiting family, I'm originally from New Orleans, but I've been a resident of Texas for quite some time. I said all of that because I have NEVER had an oyster poboy in my life that only had 5 small fried oysters on a 12in poboy. The flavor is wonderful, but you guys have to put more of the product on the sandwich. That's not going to cut it. After seeing g my initial review, the owner Mo called me personally to apologize for the mistake. He offered to "make it right," which was very professional. This showed me that Mo and his establishment actually care about their customer's experience. They take pride in what they are doing. For this reason, I changed my rating from 3 to 5. I was there to pick up a door dash today and the lady with the hijab had an attitude the entire time and was on her phone and sitting down and ignored two people at the window and mocked them after she closed the window. She started complaining about how me and another person were there for door dash orders. She was on her phone even though the cooks set out 6 boxes (my order) and I was staring at her while she was just sitting on her phone and when the other worker said something she gave me a nasty look back and then laughed at me when she kind of arrogantly sat down four empty cups and Said "there's your four lemonades" and didn't even tell me where the drink fountain was.
