⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “ABSOLUTE METAL MAYHEM FOR YOUR MOUTH” Every time we’re in Long Beach, there’s only one stop that matters: Grill ‘Em All. This place isn’t just a restaurant it’s a sacred temple of heavy metal and meat, and me and my husband are fully devoted disciples.
Let me talk about the Long Beach Dirtbag Burger, because this beast deserves its own song. I always get it double style because anything less would be a betrayal. Chipotle ketchup, chili cheese, garlic aioli, melty American cheese, and DEEP. FRIED. BACON. Yes, you read that right. This burger doesn’t whisper flavor it kicks down the door with a flaming guitar solo and screams it in your face. It’s pure carnivorous chaos in the BEST way.
But just when I thought life couldn’t get better… they dropped the Long Beach Dirtbag Fries basically everything but the patties, and EVERYTHING my chili cheese fry dreams were missing. These fries didn’t just hit they rearranged my soul. I took one bite and literally said, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?” My husband locked eyes with me like we just fell in love all over again. These fries changed our lives.
And speaking of my husband he recently got to sink his teeth into the Cowboy from Hell, and it was everything he hoped for. BBQ grilled chicken, jalapeño bacon, red onion, lettuce, garlic aioli, and that fierce Mosh Pit BBQ sauce brought it all together. It’s not his all time favorite (that honor goes to the mythical Joey Belladonna Burger which better make a comeback or we riot), but the Cowboy is definitely up there. He said it tasted better than ever, and honestly, I’ve never seen him so excited to eat a burger!
Grill ‘Em All is where burgers are forged in the fires of Mount Metal. It’s loud. It’s wild. It’s greasy, cheesy glory wrapped in buns and baptized in sauce. If you’ve ever wanted to eat a burger that makes you question the meaning of life in the best possible way this is the place.
This isn’t just food it’s a lifestyle. A thunderous, flavor blasted, headbanging reminder that metal and meat were always meant to be together. So crank the volume, open wide, and surrender to the chaos. HAIL THE DIRTBAG BURGER. HAIL THE DIRTBAG FRIES....
Read moreBelieve the hype. My husband found this place while we were looking specifically for a good burger place. I'm not even a burger person typically and this place is a new favorite for me. I got the monthly special, Bulldozer. My husband got the Behemoth. We split the dirtbag fries.
Honestly as good as the fries are, we probably wouldn't get them again as just 2 people. This isn't a knock at all (on the contrary), but you probably need 4 people to split these, if everyone is getting a burger. They really do mean LOADED and as a Philly native, and foodie, I respect the heck out of that. They are incredible.
It is rare that I crave a burger, so when I do I want something quality. This 100% hits the nail on the head. The burger patty itself is juicy (but not greasy!) and cooked exactly to your specifications. The style exceeded my expectations. The Bulldozer was mozzarella with tomatoes, greens, balsamic, and aioli... It perfectly melded together in a taste bud explosion. Bonus, the roll they used ACTUALLY HELD UP! Meaning by, the sandwich didn't fall apart midway through because the bread got too soggy (this is a huge pet peeve of mine)... Instead, this burger stayed as one perfect sandwich from the first bite until the last. These guys DEFINITELY passed sandwich making class!
The Behemoth is exactly what it sounds like. An enormous explosion of grilled cheese, sauces, pickle, and burger. A perfect marriage.
While we didn't get any alcohol to drink, the beer list looked good. My only "critique" would be that I wished there were more non-alcoholic options, but that wasn't why I came here anyhow. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and relaxed.
This is not a grab-n-go type place (despite the outside appearance). It's very clear that they take their time making quality, handmade food, and to do that well, takes time. I'm happy to wait though for such an excellent meal. We will be back, and will bring friends...
Read moreAfter seeing Grill 'Em All's Facebook post about their April Burger of the Month, I knew I had to try it out! I came here with Christina C. and her husband after work one evening and parked in the plaza's parking garage. Yay for easy parking in Alhambra!
We each ordered our own burger and we decided to share two of their fries: -- HIGH ON FRIES: Shredded Buffalo Chicken, Bleu Cheese, Wing Sauce These were just okay. I will always love fries, but I did not care too much for the toppings. -- PRIMATE FRIES: Cheddar, House Thousand Island, Grilled Onion These are very reminiscent of In-N-Out's animal-style fries. Definitely liked these better than the High On Fries.
We had actually originally wanted their cheese tots because we came on a Tot Tuesday, but they had already run out. Sigh. The fries were good though.
Of course the main attraction of the evening was the Burger of the Month! The DIMMU-BURGER AKA the Necrobutcher! Man, how do they come up with these names? Even better question, how do they come up with the burgers? This one involved: Corn Dog Crusted Fried Spam, White Truffle Cheese Wiz, Mustard & House Pickle on a Half Pound Burg! NO JOKE. That burger was a monster... a delicious cheesy fried monster. I was able to eat half of it before my body told me NO MORE.
The food gets crazy here but it's also pretty good. It's definitely worth checking in on them from time-to-time to see what their burger of the month is and if it sounds appealing. There is limited indoor seating but they also have outdoor patio seating and the staff are all...
