To Management,
I’d like to bring to your attention a very concerning issue that occurred during my recent visit to your establishment — one that unfortunately reflects poorly on your staff’s professionalism and overall customer service.
After settling our bill, one of your staff members immediately returned to our table and demanded that we leave a tip, either in cash or charged to our card. As someone with firsthand experience in the restaurant industry, I found this behavior to be highly inappropriate and disrespectful. Tipping is a voluntary gesture, not an obligation — and pressuring guests in such a direct and entitled manner is completely unacceptable.
This was not an isolated incident. On a previous visit, we left a $5 tip and were met with judgmental stares and overheard staff speaking negatively about us in a language they assumed we wouldn’t understand. Again, extremely unprofessional and insulting.
The owner and management should seriously reevaluate how the staff is being trained when it comes to customer interaction. A welcoming and respectful environment is a key part of any hospitality business, and this kind of behavior will only drive customers away.
Let me be clear: Tipping is not mandatory, and no customer should be shamed or made to feel uncomfortable over it. I hope this message serves as a serious reminder that professional conduct is essential in any business — especially one that relies on customer satisfaction.
Sincerely, A very...
Read moreThe food here is pretty good. If you were looking for a pretty authentic Chinese style hot pot, this is a good choice. Take note, this place is NOT All-You-Can-Eat, so the overall pricing may seem pretty high as you add things into your cart.
If you're the type of person who would rather pay a slight premium for food, this place is a decent option in the sea of hotpots in the area. However, if you don't mind a slight compromise in quality, and the peace of mind of eating whatever you want, I would probably suggest you heading to one of the many surrounding AYCE hotpot/shabu shabu restaurants within the 10-15 mile radius.
Onto the service I received here, I can't say that there was no service, but very minimal. The day we went was a Saturday, and for a Saturday, they were not completely full. There was servers still walking around providing food, but no one would take a second glance at our table to clear up the empty dishes that held the raw food. We weren't located in a obscure corner either but essentially in a direct path for the servers to go through to provide food to the other customers. I'm not too sure what happened that night, but the overall customer experience was pretty bad. Hopefully they can fix...
Read moreLOVED HOT POT HERE! Great vibes, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. Small parking lot in the back and street parking elsewhere. Quick service. Ordering dishes through the app to be delivered to your table is a breeze. You order 1-3 soup bases and then meat/veggies by the serving. We mainly focused on the hotpot, but we saw other dishes like seafood being beautifully plated. For just a few bucks you get access to the snack bar, including dessert and French fries lol. You can make your own sauce and toppings too! Food turned out very tasty, a great meal to grab with friends. Cheaper and more balanced than KBBQ. Highly recommend and will...
