Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Allen Park

Not so great experience from our most recent visit. We came on a very busy night and there was a somewhat lengthy wait after we ordered-to be expected. After our wait, one person in our group received their item while the other did not. Some time passed before we approached the pick up window stating we were missing part of our order. We were acknowledged but after waiting some more and many other people behind us in line receiving their full orders we approached the cashier window to explain that we were missing something.

When we explained the situation the young man that was the cashier on 4.12.23 between 8-9pm was so rude, disrespectful, and tried to argue that they did not miss anything in our order. He continued to complain about our group to his fellow employees with the window open where we could clearly over hear him call one of our group members a f*g. Language like that is completely unacceptable.

With all the commotion from the cashier, another employee interrupted, was apologetic for forgetting part of the order (not for the cashiers actions), and immediately took care of it. That employee was wonderful and we appreciate him for stepping in. However, we will never be returning to...

I do NOT want to give my local dairy queen a one star, but seriously, you need an adult in the room. I understand kids get jobs here for summer, and I'm all about that, BUT TRAIN THEM! Cultivate your team! What I seen was an absolute mess of business. We waited 30 minutes in line, with only 3 people in front of us! There is no organization, customers have to wonder if thier order is being made..we waited ANOTHER 30 minutes for 2 Blizzards that were not even made right, they ran them through the blender so they were pureed like a slush...no chunks in it..very disappointed. The whole time we were waiting the kids inside were scrambling, yelling at each other, and to add all of that, those OBNOXIOUS door dash drivers were walking right up cutting in line and the employees did not, or did not care to do anything. I'm not sure what the heck was going on, but until I see a reply to my review, my family will go to Baskin Robbins, because this location is officially a wreck, and needs an adult to manage it, instead of letting these kids run the box without any guidance. On top of everything else..OMG to those high prices! I would gladly pay them for a pro made, quickly made Blizzard..but you won't...

Went to the one on Ecorse in Allen Park, MI. The "manager" named "alex" made me a p"butter lovers blizzard".. the quotations are

She hesitated before saying she was a manager after the first issue When I asked her name she said "uhh, uhh, alex" The first time it was made it was a vanilla blizzard with a less than a half pump of peanut butter in the middle much like a royal.... The second time it was made it was vanilla ice cream with peanut butter drizzled over top. At which point i gave up trying to explain to "Alex" how to make one as it seemed pointless as she seemed high.

Tall skinny dark haired girl worked on June 11th at 530pm said she was "Alex"

So then I went to the Dairy Queen on dix just south of southfield. I asked for the same thing and it was made correctly and without issue.. peanut butter cup pieces with a peanut butter pump swirled in!! Too bad i had to pay twice but lesson learned stay away from the Ecorse Rd...
