Food is good but like MANY MANY MANY of the previous reviews, the wait staff could be MUCH BETTER, & if there's anything bringing this restaurant down it's them and MAYBE the speed to which food comes out of the kitchen. Of the 2yrs I've eaten here, the staff has been the only major problem I've had & continue to have. The daughter is VERY sweet...but beyond her, there really should be a DEMANDED upgrade from the owner on the experience given to the customer while in tube restaurant. Accurate times for carry out would also GREATLY HELP as there has also been no less than 4-5 tines where 20-25 minutes is quoted. Someone shows up 30 minutes later to give a small window, only having to further wait 50-70 minutes total! Both have happened when ordering only fried rice with just a "thank you for waiting", but no "I'm sorry" or even a small discount for having been forced to wait 40 extra minutes after arrival because 2 veggie fried rice dinners needed to be made in the order it was taken with no ability for chefs in back to somehow multitask & push out 2x very very easy $7 meals. They get 4 stars because of the food quality. However, if the owner/s chose not to change both the service level their customers are getting AND either add a chef in the back or correct whatever needs done in the kitchen to ensure the service times in the kitchen are reduced to under 30 min on BUSY DAYS & 15-20 min tops on normal days, I will be forced to drive further for equal or even lesser food to while getting a better experience in ask other ways outside of just food quality. I don't expect the world by any means, but i do HOPE FOR at least equal service with the clear strive to be better! Doesn't seem to be much internal pride in this operation as a whole. At least that's the perception, since being "just good enough" seems to be what they're ok with. Please improve the little things that make customers want to choose 1 restaurant over another besides location. You CAN BE so much better. Im obviously not the immature customer who gives a 1 star for since stupid random b.s. reason, so PLEASE prove me right so that a legit 5 star rating can be given! Match your good food with a very lacking experience. Than you for hopefully at least trying & not brushing this review off as thinking I don't (along with the handful of others who have had the same experience on here) have any idea what im talking about or what it takesto run the business! I do know what many other restaurants demand of their staff AND THEN GIVE, & am just hoping you can deliver there same! Happy new year & thank you in advance! ...

I live in Melvindale near Ming sun and I've been eating there for years. I recently over the last few weeks ventured out to try other chinese spots. The first 3 were duds I visited and horrible food compared to my favorite and what I believe to be the best Chinese food in all of downriver Ming sun. But this place is good a close second. The only place where the sauce for the general tao chicken was great. Overall the food was good with great portions. Only reason I gave them a 4 star is because I got the general tao dinner and it comes with white rice so I upgraded to fried rice (no chicken in it) just fried rice. That wasn't a big deal it was only like a dollar more or something. But the biggest disappoint was the egg roll or lack there of. Idk it was like a microwave egg roll the ones you probably ate back in the day from the frozen section at the store. I don't think it was deep fried and it was tiny. Anyway overall my opinion is this place is great and you get great portions. If I'm hungry for chinese on a Saturday (ming sun is closed on Saturday) this will definitely be my go to. Nice employees. UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW: So I guess the dinner came with a spring roll and not a egg roll I guess there is a difference. I see they serve egg rolls on the menu so I can't speak on the egg roll. But I guess I don't like spring rolls definitely rather have a egg roll. I'm sure you can substitute the spring for a egg roll in the dinner. Next time I eat there I'll update on the egg roll witch may switch my review from a 4 to 5...
