Hat Creek Burger Company — Restaurant in Allen

I want to share my awesome experience that I had this morning at the Hat Creek location in Allen Texas. I had no idea that Hat Creek served breakfast. I just happened to be driving by and saw them open and decided to check online to see if they serve breakfast. I was actually headed to another restaurant for breakfast but something was pulling me there. I had a bad experience a couple of years ago at this location but . I decided to go for the Flap Hat combo. It was pancakes with a choice of either bacon or sausage. I'm very picky especially when it comes to pancakes. I don't eat them very often due too dietary restrictions but I wanted to treat myself. When I opened the container I was shocked because the pancakes are literally the size of the container. They are very delicious! They were slightly sweet, fluffy, soft and moist. These are no frozen pancakes! These pancakes are cooked fresh to order, and I know my Pancakes! I had a sausage patties and it was delicious as well. The sausage was perfectly cooked and it reminded me of country sausage that I ate as a child. It wasn't too salty or greasy it was perfect.They gave me enough syrup and butter. The pancakes are so big I couldn't finish them. But I'm not complaining that's a good thing. I enjoy eating breakfast and I definitely want to get my money's worth. I will highly recommend their breakfast. I paid less than 6 bucks for two HUGE Flap Hats and two sausages! Maybe my first experience there wasn't great but everyone deserves a chance. Service was awesome! The young man that was working the drive thru was so nice! These are some of the best pancakes that I've had from a restaurant in a long time. Even better than Whataburger! Don't get me wrong, I love Whataburger but Hat Creek definitely has the better batch! My family with a picky 5 year old and a chicken nugget only 3 year old approves! Plenty of choices for changing up or having a traditional burger, including turkey burgers! Real ground turkey, not the Patty's. Which makes me personally love this place more. And the beef burgers are really good as well. They also have an option for Keto, vegan and Paleo diets! The atmosphere is fantastic if you have kids. You walk in, and order ( beer is also served). And then you get your drink of choice if not a beer at the fountain beverage machine. And from there you have picnic like tables ( they are more comfortable then the traditional picnic table but it feels like one) and you sit and wait for your order ...while....your kids can go play on the play structure! Indoor seating is available along with outdoor seating that brings you closer to the play structure. Best part ..the outdoor seating is under protective plastic walls (i think it's plastic windows, not sure what it's called) but it's away from the elements. Hot outside, won't feel so hot and the cold won't have the wind giving you the extra chill as you watch your kids play. And that's my point lol. Anyway if you want a Burger, and some fun kid friendly options ( including grill cheese) and a place to get those kids energy...

I have nothing but great things to say about this location. I’ve been coming here regularly with my daughter and have seen this location in its busiest moments and it’s quietest as well and both my daughter and I always have a great time. Food and ambience is always excellent. Whether there was a rush or not, hat creek has always delivered exceptionally friendly service and I can say that about everyone that has worked here the last few months. They have never failed to get the food out in time and are always ready to help me with whatever request I have. Chris has a golden quality voice meant for audio books and radio stations and will always make you feel welcomed. Steven has been a beast since day 1 as I’ve witnessed him running the busy afternoon shifts and still does a great job at managing the team ensuring that they perform properly. As someone who works in the food industry this performance is satisfying to witness. I come to hat creek because I get to read or work while I have a drink as I see my daughter playing in the playground with other kids and I don’t think there’s many places like this out there. I hope this store gets recognized for all of its hard work and amazing service it delivers, I will continue to return to this location with the loyalty they...
