Topgolf Allen — Restaurant in Allen

It all began with the planning process. Lindsey, the event manager at the Allen location is awesome. After years of telling myself I wanted to plan a surprise party for my husband I finally decided to do it. Deciding where to have it was the easy part; the question was could I afford it. I contacted Lindsey and once I explained what I wanted to do she took it from there. I thought my budget would only allow me to consider certain types of food and entertainment for my guest. Lindsey assured me that she would help me host an event I would be proud of, enjoy and stay within budget, she did just that. After asking the pertinent questions, how many, date, times for consideration, budget etc. she went to work. Lindsey presented just enough options and some included culinary options I hadn’t thought would be in the budget.

I arrived a tad bit early because I wanted to be available to greet my guest but did not expect everything to be set up or to be taken care of so quickly, I fully expected to wait. I was greeted with such energy and enthusiasm, Holly almost seemed too nice and was full of energy, I felt truly welcomed. Jimmy, who was very personable says he loves working at TopGolf and it showed in every interaction. Theann was on top of it all and super nice. Brandon was super funny, worked hard and made everyone feel at ease.

All of my guest kept mentioning how much fun they were having and how smoothly everything was going. I heard several people comment on how they had never thought of TopGolf but definitely feel it is a place to consider now.

I had Queso at each bay for a starter followed by chicken and beef fajitas, cilantro rice and black beans. All of my guest were impressed. They could not stop talking about how good the food was, how tender the chicken was and how the beef was not that chewy stuff some people serve. They loved the staff and kept asking questions about the planning process.

The most wonderful thing about the team associates Saturday night, Holly, Jimmy, Theann and Brandon is that they served as the ultimate stress relievers. I am used to having to worry about details, making certain my guest are taken care of etc. They took such good care of everyone they left me nothing to worry about. They even took care of me, if I looked like I was looking for something or someone was there to see if they could assist.

Thank you Lindsey for making the planning seamless and stress free while presenting options that where both enjoyable, memorable and in the budget.

This was our first time at a Top golf, and I wanted to love it, but was somewhat disappointed. It started out perfect with immediate help at the front desk. We had a large party of 11 and were easily accommodated in 2 bays side by side. Once we located our bays, we were then greeted by another staff member that made sure we understood how the whole process worked and helped us get our games set up. We had 4 kids with us and other staff members were entertaining the kids while we got everyone set up in the computer. This all started out so well...then went down hill. We ordered some drinks, and the service was a little slow, but it was a busy Saturday night, so we weren't that upset. Then we ordered another pitcher for the table...it never showed up. After 30min someone had to go find an employee to ask about our drinks and try to get some water refills for everyone, as the kids were complaining about being thirsty with nothing left to drink. Another 20min and the server shows up with 2 waters and 1 glass of beer...we ordered a pitcher of beer and 8 waters. After that disappointment our time was almost up, so part of our group decided to head on home and we condensed into 1 bay. One of the kids wanted an order of tater tots and we put in the order with our server...30min later, still no tots and we questioned the server when she returned, and requested some more waters. 30 more minutes and still no tots or waters. We flagged down a different employee and he immediately returned with waters for everyone and said he was unsure of our food order, so our server was on her way. She showed up and apologized for the food issue, and the tater tots finally showed up after another 10min. After such a good start to our Topgolf experience, it was so disappointing to have such poor table service...especially since the prices are so high. After spending $350 here for such poor service, I'm not so sure we will return. We did all have fun playing, so maybe we will try a different...

I went for my birthday saturday evening. i showed up early expecting there to be a super long wait, but to my surprise there was no wait! even though my party wasnt showing up until 6PM, i decided to go kill my hour "wait" at the bar on the second floor. they had some good specials going for march madness. my fiance and i chose to sit in one of the 2 person booths along the wall and i guess we showed up during a shift change because after sitting there for almost 10 minutes i had to go to the bar and order a round and specifically ask for a waitress to come take care of us. besides that, the bar experience was great. i have to say that i was impressed with the service we received the entire night from start to finish. the girl at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, she even "gave" me a reservation to hold 2 bays for my party. i think it had to do with the fact that i was coming up to her every 15 minutes asking what the wait time is, but either way she handled it like a pro.

we got two bays on the bottom floor all the way at the end. to some people this might be a negative, but i enjoyed it because it made it more private for me and my party. we were instantly greeted by our waitress who was very nice and catered to our every need. once everyone showed up, we ordered tons of food and beer and started crushing golf balls, or at least trying to.

the food itself was decent, we ordered just about every appetizer on the menu. my favorite was the quesadillas, nachos and hot wings. all the food came out hot and fresh. the only negative was the price. even though top golf is inherently expensive ($40/hr on the weekends just to use the bay) and you can split the cost up however you want, there is still a bit of sticker shock when you get the final bill.

all in all, its a fun place to meet friends and family and have a fun time, whether you enjoy...
