I placed my order but hadn’t paid yet when the person taking my order went to answer a phone call. I wasn’t sure if my order went through, so I waited for five minutes. Then, someone else came over and said a manager’s code was needed, which made me wait even longer. I ordered the 2-meat meal, but when the food arrived, there was only one meat. The person who took my order was still on the phone, and the server who brought the food left immediately. I had to wait for a long time again. When the person who took my order finally came back and asked what was wrong, I told them the sausage was missing. They took my food to the back, and I had to wait even longer. When they finally brought my food, they placed the receipt directly on top of my food, covering it. Do you know receipts contain harmful chemicals like carcinogens? On top of that, they didn’t provide any sauces. It was a terrible experience—extremely bad service. Who would ever put a receipt on...
Read moreWe stopped in when we got to HEB really just to check out the menu. When we saw Dino rib we had to have lunch. We ordered the dino rib with cole slaw and potato salad, brisket queso nachos, and 2 Texas torpedo with both sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The first thought that came to my mind when I saw dino rib was the Flintstones when they get the rack of dino bones that makes their car fall over - and this dish was definitely just that. Between 1-1.5 lbs of meat on the rib alone, it could’ve easily fed a family of four. We had to eat it with a knife and fork but the rib bone was bigger than our heads. We will definitely be back. We ordered 2 Texas torpedos, stuffed avocados wrapped in sausage, they were delicious but we only needed one. It was sooo much food, delicious, but a...
Read moreIt was as a little after 5 pm on a Friday and this place supposedly had no more brisket. We didn’t see a sign post at the entrance, nor did the person ever saying anything until after we started ordering. The restaurant had staff dining in and plates being brought out had brisket, so where or no they ran out of brisket, I find it A little suspicious at this place would be prepared on a Friday night during football season for families to want BBQ. The restaurant was not clean and we had to tell an H-E-B man about the Hiro mess left inside the bathroom. For a place that has not even been open for a year I believe it is time to either have corporate come back and re-train staff or for the store and the grocery store to close its doors they might be better...
