The manager with red hair and tattoos on her arm doesn’t know how her system works apparently. I go in and I see the guy trying to help me is training someone so I’m patient with him and their system is going slow. When I go to tap my card, it says transaction complete and there’s a green checkmark on the keypad for my card payment. He says it didn’t go through on his end he asked me to go to my bank. I did it shows that my bank account has already taken money the $11.14. He says it’s not working so he calls that manager.
She has tap my card three more times the green checkmark appears again. So I’m thinking to myself I’m about to get charged twice for one order. She’s over here trying over here trying to explain to me that it didn’t go through she showing me her screen, I said ma’am the green checkmark has already appeared so I’m about to get charged twice. She said no that’s why the receipt came up. I said no it’s I already had it on my account so now it’s about to show up twice because you had me tap my card four times total.
I wake up this morning and what do I see, two charges on my account. I go back after work to show her and she says it’s pending. I say the money has already been taken out of my account that’s why it’s red. She tried to go back-and-forth with me and I was just trying to explain to her, why would I have to tap my card four times and get charged twice for one order? She was being very nasty to me, didn’t have any patience with me, and started ignoring me and walking around. I was talking to her with with a calm attitude, but right off the bat she didn’t she didn’t have it.
She was trying to ignore me saying that she has all these other customers, there was only three people in the store and two cars in the drive-through line. So if you go to Popeyes in Allen and see her, just go ahead and turn right back out because she won’t be helpful in any way...
Read moreTo Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at one of your Popeyes locations. On 2/14/25I arrived at the store at 9:59 a.m., and while the doors were already unlocked, I was met with an unprofessional and disappointing experience.
Upon entering, I noticed the staff in the back laughing and seemingly disengaged from their duties. When I approached someone to place my order, I was told, with noticeable attitude, that food preparation does not begin until 10:00 a.m. As a customer, it is frustrating to enter a restaurant during posted business hours only to find that nothing is ready and that I would need to wait 20 minutes for fried chicken.
I understand that certain processes take time, but it seems counterintuitive to open the doors without having at least some items prepared, especially given that many customers are on tight schedules and short lunch breaks. The dismissive response I received from the manager on duty only added to my frustration.
As a restaurant owner with over 30 years of experience in the industry, I find the manager's nonchalant attitude completely unacceptable. I do not believe this reflects corporate policy, and if this location is a franchise, it seems they are operating under their own standards rather than the high standards associated with Popeyes.
I have always enjoyed Popeyes for its quality food and service, but this experience fell far short of expectations. I hope you will address this matter with the staff to improve readiness and customer interactions in the future.
Thank you for your time and...
Read moreThis was the first time I have EVER visited a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Today, I am underwhelmed. I went through the drive-through and ordered three chicken tenders. The young man who took my money handed me my change with the bills folded and when he dropped the coins on top, they fell to the ground, he apologized profusely and I told him not to worry about it. I took my sack and headed home and the smell was delightful. When I sat down and opened my box, I found four biscuits. I was tight on time, but I got back in my car and drove back and took my biscuits inside where I waited in line. I asked to speak to the manager and a woman I had just seen enter the kitchen helped me. I told her what happened, explaining that it was my first experience with Popeyes. I think she apologized, handed my biscuits to a girl who was expediting orders and then rushed off. The girl boxed up five chicken strips and handed me the box. I was not offered any sauce for my strips, but she did apologize for what happened. When I got home, and was finally able to taste my first Popeyes Chicken Strip, I found it to be rather mediocre with an oily/undercooked texture (I should be fair and say the chicken wasn't undercooked, it was just a similar texture). I only ate two of them. While my experience left a lot to be desired in the customer service department, I will go back and try them again, but next time, I'll order the...
