Like an idiot I continue to come to this location. My wraps are always soggy, wet and fall apart. So much so that I throw away over 1/3rd of the wrap. Today I told myself I'd just create a salad. Since my Mom always has luck with salads at this location. I've always preferred and used the McKinney location, but hey why not.....The lettuce was red and brown throughout most of the salads. I'm not a complainer, so I was just going to throw mine in the trash and vow to NEVER visit this location again. But, my Mom decided to call. Shannon or the person pretending to be the Manager named Shannon basically said oh well. Call customer service I can't stay on the phone. Hop in the car and back we go. Tried to reason with Shannon, the supposed Mgr, and person who gave me my order initially. She was just as much an ass in person as she was over the phone. I'd hate to have to dispute $15 with my bank, but when the customer service sucks this bad, that's what's...

On Friday (10/18/24), my father ordered a Cobb Chicken salad, BBQ Roasted Chicken salad, & Buffalo Chicken Wrap for dinner.
My parents split the Cobb salad and the next day they were both experiencing some sort of ‘bug’ / food poisoning - literally sick & in bed 1/2 the day. (My mother actually started having problems w/ her stomach hours after dinner).

Note - There have been times in the past that the salad ingredients didn’t seem as fresh as they should’ve been @ the Custer & McDermott location.
I believe it’s time to truly revaluate the food vendor that Salad and Go utilizes as well as taking a closer look at proper food handling and storage / temps.
I hate to say it, but Salad and Go just lost...

I grabbed a Caesar Salad with Chicken for myself and a chicken soup for someone else (I didn't hear their review). The salad was fresh and priced fairly. I was pleasantly surprised there was enough dressing because I prefer a lot ;) There is an opportunity to add an extra protein for a small fee. A co-worker saw my salad and said, "Hey - where did you get that?!"
At this location, I love that there are two separate drive-thru lanes. One is for mobile orders, and the other is for on-demand orders.
I look forward to trying out other salads, wraps, soups, and even breakfast!
ETA: Sometimes I do need to order a 2nd dressing (I like my salads very moist.) Sometimes I get a protein pack instead, and I love...
