This isn't your ordinary 5 star review.
I'm a little afraid to admit spending so much money on coffee, but here I go:
I visit this Starbucks nearly on a daily basis. For the most part, the staff is super kind and should be given promotions. They know how to make everything perfectly.
Then, occasionally, there is one specific person who isn't the greatest at making coffee. I don't know her name and I wouldn't use her name against her, but she is absolutely terrible at making drinks and even the food! As for the drinks, they taste very watered down when served by her. When it comes to the food, sometimes it's not heated correctly, and other times it has a terrible tasting chemical burn which actually makes me gag, I don't want to overreact but it's pretty darn inedible. And just little things like there's no green stopper when going through the drive thru, etc. It is not my goal to try and sound like a typical Karen, but my god if I see her making my coffee or food, I know it's going to be bad. If all of the staff were to serve food and drinks of this quality, the establishment would be getting a one star easily from me. However, like I said above I appreciate the rest of the staff as they are truly very kind, considerate, and do an amazing job even at 5:00 in the morning.
TL;DR There's a staff member who works here that was not trained correctly or makes shortcuts which in return makes the drinks bland, and the food different temperatures or have a chemical burn taste. I would be cautious if you just wanted to get something here once, it's...
Read moreWent there to finish up some last minute work on a Saturday. Stopped by and initially ordered just a cup of ice nothing more. One of the young lady's that I asked, mentioned that she will not give me a cup of ice until I purchase something. I responded how that doesn't sound right. Is this a new rule? How long have y'all been enforcing it here at this location? Here's the thing. I already planned on getting a Venti Vanilla Bean, but with it being the middle of JUNE in the HOT HEAT, you'd think they wouldn't mind giving people a small cup of Ice. God, can I cool off first before diving into a Iced Caramel Frappe with Whip Cream? Despite already planning to purchase something, which I did. I felt robbed and scammed. What about the people who don't drink coffee, or any other beverages but water? Better yet, what about the people who probably can't afford any of the drinks and just want water? Do you dehumanize and turn them away too? Preposterous! In other news, the Venti Vanilla Bean was good, but I will never be returning to this store again, nor spending any money there after...
Read moreThis is one of the Starbucks that I like the most. I go to Starbucks at leadt 4 times a week all over DFW area because work sends me every where. This is one of the friendliest and most professional Starbucks. But, I have to take 3 stars away because of the music. The majority of the people who comes to Starbucks are trying to have a nice, quiet coffee time. Some try to read a good book, some are trying to finish their school work, some are meeting with friends or clients to have a nice convo. But the music here is just too teenage-y and is VERY, VERY loud!!! Once in a while you’ll get to hear some classics ( not in English though but still nice to be able to feel relaxing while drinking your coffee) and once in a blue moon you’ll get to really relax with some jazzy tunes. Most Starbucks that I go to play jazzy instrumentals or nice soft classics, this one I just wanna leave right after I walk in. So, after 3 tries, I don’t think I’ll be going here anymore. I’d rather drink some less delicious coffee but can still hear my own thoughts to...
