Anthony’s Pizza — Restaurant in Allentown

TERRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE. Can’t take orders right on the phone. The lady that picked up could barely understand/speak English so she passed it off to some guy. I repeated my order multiple times to him. I get there and they messed up the cheesesteak order, when I’m there the pie also got messed up (didn’t cook right, a hole formed in the pie) so I had to wait for them to make a new pie.

While I’m waiting for my pie and cheesesteak to be remade you have employees cursing at each other for mess ups. Someone’s wings somehow went missing and nobody knew where those went. One guy came in asking for his order and they didn’t even start his order because the cook knew nothing about, because the guy at the register didn’t relay the message because he didn’t want to bother him. 50 mins has gone by since I placed my call and waited at the restaurant. Once they finally remade 1 out of the 2 cheesesteak that they messed up and it was time to ring me out, the original cheesesteak I ordered that was made right was soaked in grease and soggy. I had enough at this point...

I stopped by tonight after seeing a Facebook ad for the two-pie special. As someone still on the hunt for the best pizza in Allentown, I was hoping to find a new favorite, and this place definitely delivered.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I especially appreciated the person who was talking about the sauce—you can tell they're genuinely proud of their food. And for good reason! The sauce was absolutely fantastic, and it reminded me of my own homemade recipe.

The pizza itself was delicious. The flavor was spot on, and I would absolutely order it again. The only reason it's not a five-star review is that I prefer my crust a little crispier. That's just a personal preference, though. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great-tasting pizza...

Someone told me about a deal that was happening for a grand opening and I tried the pizza. I wasn't a fan of I believe it's called a Chicago style pizza ( mostly crust type of pizza) so I wanted to try something different. First photo is a cheesesteak i got when they were open for 2 weeks. I was skeptical on getting another one because for the price the wow factor wasn't there for me. I decided to give them another chance last week and boy did they deliver. I wanted red sauce added and I think the one employee really hooked me up because this sandwich was thick and juicy! I'm definitely getting another...
