China Wok — Restaurant in Allentown

Just finished trying my meal. Absolutely poop, over cooked, under cooked, and greasy.

Ordered Pepper Steak & Onion Combo. They over cooked the beef to shoe leather, and the peppers & red onions were only just barely cooked. Still super crunch vegetables with shoe leather, bad experience. Came with fried rice, guy must have burnt the oil before cooking it because it had that all too familiar taste.

Wonton Soup, way too much wrapper, not enough beef filling, greasy AF Broth. Half the WonTons fell apart before I even got them in my mouth. Super doughy, double wrapped, and super bland.

Best part of my meal was the Egg Roll at the end. 1st place I been too that actually served me a good egg roll that wasn't...

Ordered dinner through DoorDash. The driver didn’t follow instructions. Now to the “food”. Vegetables with Curry Sauce had almost no sauce. The carrots were cut about 1/4 inch thick and like the restof the vegetables were barely cooked. No mushrooms, red or green peppers. I got broccoli and1or 2 onions and carrots. Egg rolls tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in a month. One strike you are out. Never again. Rice Family much better! Just tried the Kung Pao Chicken, no heat no flavor at all. I did find 1 snow pea and 2 extremely large pieces of celery and a 1” square...

Definitely NOT impressed!! The wings are Party wings/wing dings, and not the real complete “chicken wings”. There already cut no batter just fried.. like a plain fried chicken. The fried rice doesn’t even have traditional bean sprouts. You have to pay extra for a egg added in your fried rice. I used to like this place 10 years ago, now it’s just plain and doesn’t fit a traditional Chinese restaurant. I’m used to “Nan King”or Even “Asia Restaurant” in Allentown. Way better on the authentic Chinese food. Couldn’t even enjoy the food, only ate half...
