I bought a burrito. They attempted to charge me $13 but the sign says $12. They apologized for the mistake which is no big deal. I asked for a burrito with spicy salsa in it. I got a burrito drenched with sour cream drizzle, some kind of powdered cheese (maybe parm) and with lettuce garnishing the plate and a spork that you got from 2nd grade to eat it with. How am I supposed to pick this thing up and eat it? It's covered in sour cream drizzle and cheese on the outside. Am I supposed to cover my hands in the sour cream and cheese to eat it? If not, then how am I going to cut into this burrito with a spork? Lastly, the spicy salsa was in a plastic sampling container and not in the burrito. I understand that you might just package it like that or whatever, but it's not like I can really dip this burrito in the salsa. If I dip it, the burrito falls apart. So I guess I have to scoop the salsa into the burrito? It's chunky salsa, so it just sits on top of the burrito. Additionally, why is the plate garnished with lettuce? Lettuce goes inside the burrito! Not on the outside of the plate. In no way am I comparing street food to Gordon Ramsey, but I really wish I could hear what Gordon would have said about this burrito. I can't hold it. I can't cut it. The lettuce is on the plate and not inside the burrito. The spicy salsa has to be scooped and the chicken was bland and seemed almost microwaved. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I really had to post this. Almost, who put who puts carrots in burritos? I don't know a single restaurant that does any of this. And before anyone questions me, this was NOT...
Read moreAte at their "landing zone" in a parking lot on Lehigh St. WOW, was it ever worth it!! Had the Barria Tacos... Absolutely delicious😋 Much better meat than the usual taco, and worth the extra 2 bucks ($14 for the Barria, you get 3). Tender, overflowing, and wonderfully flavorful. Shame about the 1-star review: they're "street tacos", they're not small, they are intended to hold in one hand; also, they are soft tacos, so don't criticize the tacos for not being crunchy. Also, I think the salsa you had an issue with is actually a dipping sauce; just like what I thought was a small side of guacamole turned out to be a fiery avocado sauce...I used every drop! I'm going...
Read moreWe were at an Artsquest event at Union Terrace on Friday, 9/12. There was a really long line when we got to the truck, but we waited thinking it would go quickly. What a mistake! 40 minutes later, still no food. I finally went to the window to find 6 boxed piled up. When I asked if any were my 2 orders, I was told to wait “a few minutes “. I’d waited over 40 minutes by then. The food was only warm, but had good flavor. The nachos were very plentiful, the 3 steak tacos were meager. If you can’t handle the crowds you shouldn’t be at an event like this. It was $30 for...
