I have a gluten allergy and called ahead to see if their pho was safe for me to eat. They said it was. (I’ve never had it anywhere that it wasn’t, but always need to verify to be safe) I went in and ordered 2 pho to go. I mentioned the gluten allergy again and was told it was safe. After a few more stops, I went home to eat. To my surprise, they add crispy fried onions as a topping which are NOT gluten free, in my experience. I called to question it. The girl who answered said it’s “just onions” so it “should be fine”. She said if I was concerned, just don’t eat that part. I explained how allergies work and that’s NOT an option. I asked her to verify and she checked with someone and called me back. Again they told me it “should be fine”. I asked the gentleman who got on the phone to read me the ingredients list on the package. After 5 minutes of searching for the list, he found it and sure enough, they were not gluten free. I asked for a refund, as these meals are not edible. He said he couldn’t do anything about that because he’s not a manager, but probably, if I brought the food back, they could issue a refund. At this point, I’d been Christmas shopping all day, was starving and exhausted. I’m also sick which is the whole reason I wanted it to begin with…it’s my go-to “feel better food”. I get it…anyone could eat the food and call to ask for a refund for any number of reasons. But the fact that I took the proper precautions to make sure it was ok…TWICE…and it wasn’t, really pissed me off. And going back out just wasn’t in my cards this evening. He said he’d have the manager call me when he got back (he stepped out for a bit). Just as expected, I never received a call. So glad my 30 bucks went right in...

Came here about a week ago to grab some pho for takeout about 30-40 mins before they closed. An employee met me and my siblings at the door and let us know that the kitchen was closed. We said “oh okay, we thought you closed at 9”. The employee said “well you can’t sit in but you can takeout”. We planned to get takeout anyway so that wasn’t a problem. We said okay. And then he stated that they turned off the fryers, still standing at the door. We were confused by that statement so we quietly looked at each other and back at him. He clarified that that they didn’t have any fried food left and only soup. This is a pho restaurant. We came for pho. Is that not soup? Why would he assume we wanted fried food at a pho restaurant? Either way it was obvious that our business wasn’t wanted or welcomed.

We decided to take our business to another restaurant that happily accommodated our takeout request for pho. As we left this restaurant we watched at least 2 other patrons happily enter and exit without being blocked at the door and told that they “only have soup”.

I’ve taken out at this restaurant once before and thought the food was adequate. I happily wanted to introduce my siblings to it and try them once more but that interaction left a very weird feeling. I’m not saying this was an inherently racist interaction but I am saying that telling a group of Black customers that you don’t have fried food at a pho restaurant is a super strange way to...

This was my first time here. Stopped in for an early dinner and it was a very nice experience. Lovely restaurant, very clean and comfortable with safety guidelines followed, nice decor and vibe, and the staff are very courtious and prompt , eager to make your visit enjoyable. We ordered the summer rolls and Pho with beef with a bubble Thai tea and a organic green tea . The summer rolls were wonderful with fresh and abundant vegetables which was delicious, and the Pho was absolutely fantastic. Delicious broth and noodles with tasty ingredients and toppings with authentic flavors . Thai tea was a delicious and a refreshing drink and green tea was also delicious. Loved everything. The menu has options and selections to please all tastes and the prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food. Completely enjoyed my visit and will return. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu as everything looks wonderful Highly recommend this restaurant for either dine in or take out. Plenty of free parking. They take pride in their food and service. Keep up...

Our search of a perfect bowl of pho led us to PHO-NOM1NAL. We were happy that the menu is very limited, thinking that the cook would concentrate on a few items, making them standout. But it was not so.... The spring rolls were lukewarm, the inside was still cold. It seemed like microwave oven did not run a complete cycle. It was crispy but had no taste. The pho was the best dish, the broth was decent, it has good cinnamon and star anise flavor. The vermicelli was ok at best, the grilled meat was chewy, tasted like a microwave meat. But what got us was the cleanliness of the place. The condiments on the table were dirty, the pepper sauce looked unkempt with its lid has many dried spilled sauce. I asked for a pint glass for my beer, the glass was wet and still had the fingerprints of the previous diners. We asked for some extra basil, and what brought out was some wilted leaves (check the pic). We will not drive twenty minutes to get to this place anytime soon.

Pho is on point; a very neutral broth that gives the patron full control of its depth. Appetizers are fresh, prepared and cooked perfectly. Bubble tea stands on its own, a sultry mix of tea to milk followed by soft tapioca balls. Overall, a solid pho restaurant in an up and coming town that’s craving good Vietnamese food. Edit: I went back 2 more times and have enjoyed each occasion. The Vietnamese coffee brewed perfectly with a French press mixed with condensed milk and will surely have you wide awake afterwards. The fried tofu had crispy skin followed with a soft finish and bright flavors from the sweet chili sauce. The beef carpaccio is a beautifully presented plate of thinly cut flank steak with a bed of crispy fried onions and shallots. With a lemon squeeze and a dash of fish sauce, the combination of flavors and textures are simply too complex for my vocabulary.

Ordered the Grilled Meat Over Rice, and found this in my rice. I didn’t know what it was but thought it was a maggot or some kind of larva because of the ridges across the body and what looks like a head at the end. I let the server know I found it in my rice, he looked at it, brought it to the back, and after a few minutes, he came back and said it’s lemongrass. I said okay, no problem. I still was unsure, so I didn’t eat the rest and just packed up the meat. After I left, I looked at pictures of lemongrass, even looked at the roots, but they didn’t look like what was pictured. After more research, it looks a lot like a pantry moth larva. The food was good before I found this in it, and I thought service was great, until I found out I was lied to.
