First off i just wanna say I hate giving companies a bad review. It makes me made but I give it one star because they did refill our beers often. I want to start off by saying we were not going to order food. But I will explain some. I don't have enough room here to write it all down. Id love to speak to the owner of the place as being a business owner myself. So in an hour and a half we ordered 2 drinks and a chicken quesadilla. Being the chicken lounge I was kinda excited thinking they knew what they were doing with chicken... Wrong.... it a place decorated with chickens. After ordering the quesadilla. I watched them put packaged grilled chicken on the tortilla with lots of cheese and microwave it until melted. The plop it on the grill for 2 mins exactly. Watching more people working there being on there phones watching movies. The dishwasher boy and our waitress both were watching movies on there phones for atleast a solid hour. During enjoying a rather good beer. We watched them clean the microwaves and store rolls in them. One guy opens a plastic container of sour cream to transfer it into a metal container. Losing all of the shelf life on that. Seemed like more sour cream than they go through in the 2 days shelf life it has now acquired. They saud there was a water leak behind the bar... Not cleaned up just everyone stepping over it. The best was watching the older lady clean the grill that had soapy water filled trays under them. This bothered me. Knowing that the two grills they have the old water contanants. were poured into a bucket with a trash bag. Proceeds to miss the bucket and dump excess on the floor and use a roll of brown bathroom towels to clean it up... The least absorbent towels you could ever use. By this time we finished our drinks and noticed they don't have an actual kitchen and four microwaves. This disturbs me. There is so much potential with this place. To be dead and not busy when open until 2 am. This was at 12 midnight. Everyone seemed very grumpy. There is some much more to list. This place needs a huge renovation, updating and Gordon Ramsay. Very unhappy with the service. I know neither one of us will return ever. Unless requested...
Read moreI’ve been going to chicken lounge or have ordered for pick for several years now. Yesterday I encountered one of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with when visiting a restaurant. I arrived with a family member and for one was we were not greeted. I said hello upon arriving no one said anything. We sat down for 5 minutes no one had the cursory to let us know that someone would be with us. They seemed busy at first even though there were only 6 people there at the time. One of the servers walked away which left two behind the bar. One of the servers was taking care of the client while the other had a nice conversation with a customer. After waiting 15 minutes I decided to get up and leave. I’ve worked in customer service for 11 years and I could tell you anytime I was real busy I would greet clients and let them know someone would be right with the shortly. Instead we were ignored and not even one person took the time to give us a menu. The way this place made me feel as a customer was not welcoming. I hope you guys do better. I would understand if the place was super busy all tables filled and short on staff. The fact is there were only 6 clients there and 2 were getting ready to leave. Do better for your clients. I hope this message helps whoever is in charge run the business better. I give flowers when they are due and have recommended so many people in the past but as of yesterday I will no longer go...
Read moreWent for a small B-day celebration with family when we arrived the waitress told us they only had one menu and we had to share for 9 people. Once we decide what we wanted from the one menu we placed the order for everything at once appetizers and mains. So a little after an hour we start to ask questions cause we still don't have our appetizers or any food while people around are us are getting food and they arrived after my party did. When asking the waitress she says food hasn't been started yet and would be another half hour at this point we ordered hour and half ago now so that would be 2 hours of waiting with no food so we asked to speak with a manager they send over a highschool kid that at first said he was the manager then changed to assistant manager just made excuses about how they only have 3 microwaves and 1 grill and didn't expect to be busy on a Saturday night at one point he said what did we expect and where else was my party going to go to eat. Never offering an apology or discounting the check so at this point after a couple mins of back and forth the owner Tommy who I've now watched drinking behind the bar since we got there walks up and tells the highschool kid to give us the check and get us out.
